The family program is designed to offer effective drug rehab treatment in a family setting. Family week is every three weeks into our treatment cycle. It is a four day program (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) with specialized family treatment activities prepared. Alcohol and drug addiction is a personal issue, but it also affects the family. Family week is designed to offer treatment for the drug rehab client as well as family members affected by their loved ones addiction.

Many of the underlying issues that there are in addiction, can be traced to the family. During family week, therapy is provided in a family setting. This is to address many of the underlying problems that cause addictive behavior on a family level. A common theme in alcohol and drug addiction and family problems is codependence. Family therapy addresses the issues of family problems as well as issues with codependency in the family. It can be difficult to say the least, but resolutions for such issues can make all the difference in achieving successful recovery. A family that heals together grows much stronger, together.

One of the foundational needs for recovery is support. This must be found in both the setting of an inpatient addiction treatment facility and throughout the recovery process.
