Long Term Addiction Treatment Plan

Alcohol and drug rehab can be a process. This process can require a lengthier treatment stay for some who are struggling. At Cirque Lodge, a long term addiction treatment plan is available for individuals in need of additional care. This extended stay in our facility provides additional continuing treatment and help for the alcoholic/addict, while introducing new recovery concepts from the 12-step program. Every resident is also provided a Continuing Care Plan to assist them through the recovery process.

Primary Addiction Treatment

Primary Care consists of a 30-day program of personalized residential addiction treatment plan, therapy, and experiential work. When this is completed, residents receive a Continuing Care Plan to assist them in the recovery process. However, 30-days may just not be enough time. Studies have actually shown that greater time spent in a rehabilitation setting can greatly increase the chances of a long term sobriety. When residents of Cirque Lodge are nearing completion of their first 30-days, their counselor can provide assistance on deciding on additional time. This is always based on the resident's personal need, and whether they have properly rehabilitated.

Long term alcohol and drug rehab is a step forward and not a step backward. Some may feel that staying in rehab would just be rehashing the first 30-days over again. The long term addiction treatment plan at Cirque Lodge is continually personalized and introduces additional help, support and recovery programs. Residents continue to work with their primary counselor and build upon the concepts that were established in the first 30-days of a balanced addiction treatment plan. 12-step Addiction Treatment

Cirque Lodge is a 12-step facility. Our addiction treatment rehab plan revolves around establishing and continuing the work and effort of these accomplishments. During primary care, residents may only have time to really establish the initial steps. With an extended stay, clients can work on having a much more solid foundation of these steps. They can understand more fully their connection to a higher power, and also have the tools needed to turn over their will (and problems) to that power.

Long term addiction treatment is also a measure to continue the work of the 12-steps. When a solid foundation of step three is established, the addiction treatment program moves on to address fourth. This is the step of personal inventory. For some, helping themselves can be a difficult process. Within the safety of an alcohol and drug rehab program, individuals can work with this under the care and therapy of a licensed specialist. This can help them in dealing with the liabilities the alcoholic/addict is confronted with.

Residents in extended care also are involved in 12-step meetings throughout the week. During primary care, the restrictions for clients are intensive. Those in long term addiction treatment are given some privileges in leaving the facility for meetings, and also working with a sponsor. A sponsor can help to introduce social situations, where the recovering individual does not have to drink or use to enjoy themselves. Clients can get into the flow of meeting attendance and working with a sponsor; two things that are absolutely vital to the success of a recovery for many individuals.

Continuing Care Plan

Residents of the Cirque Lodge are prepared a Continuing Care Plan prior to their departure from our facility. In fact, residents are involved in deciding on the best course of action for this addiction treatment plan. A resident works with their primary counselor and our aftercare coordinator on the best forms of continuing care for clients. Those who remain close to the Cirque are encouraged to be a part of our aftercare group that meets weekly at our Studio facility. If not, our aftercare coordinator will seek out the right forms of therapy and support groups within the client's local communities.

For many individuals searching for a long term solution for their addiction, a sober living environment is the next logical step to the recovery process. Aftercare and a primary counselor can help in finding and seeking out a proper sober living environment. The Joys of RecoveryIt also becomes a part of the Continuing Care Plan for clients. A sober house gives the individual a place to come home to that is conducive to recovery. It provides a safe haven as the alcoholic/addict is integrated back into society and getting their feet under them.

The central part to the Continuing Care Plan is the 12-step program, and continuing its efforts. Alcohol rehab or drug rehab provides proper rehabilitation and begins the recovery process. However, it is by working the steps and helping others achieve the same that brings the strength and success of this entire process. Our aftercare coordinator will seek and find the best measures of 12-step groups and fellowships within a client's local community. Embraced within these communities, former residents of the Cirque Lodge can continue to make those needed steps and work their recovery program.

For those in need of an addiction treatment plan for your loved one, rehabilitation and help can be found at Cirque Lodge. For more information on the recovery program, please see our Addiction Treatment page, or call us at 1-877-997-3422.
