Family Week Information
Cirque Lodge Drug Rehab Center

An integral part of the Cirque Lodge alcohol rehab and drug rehab program is Family Week. Family Week takes place every third week of the treatment schedule. It is Tuesday through Friday, and Cirque Lodge residents are encouraged to invite family members to come and participate. The family program is a highly effective instrument in the recovery process, and provides education and healing for residents and their loved ones.

*The family program also offers an individual session with the resident's primary counselor and family. This individual session is scheduled with residents who have family attending the program.

Education and Support

Education on alcoholism and drug addiction is an integral part of recovery and support. Family members can better support their loved ones in alcohol or drug rehab with participation in the Family Week Workshops. These engaging workshops help on several levels and can provide a needed education on the nature of addiction what is needed for the recovery process. Family Week workshops discuss:

• The Disease Concept of Addiction
• Family Codependency
• The Family System - Communication Building
• 12-step Program
• Aftercare - Support Groups
• Taking Time for Self-Care

When your loved one comes to the Cirque Lodge or Studio facility, you will be provided with information to help you with planning for Family Week. We strongly encourage all involved to take advantage of this program, not just for your loved one in addiction treatment, but for your own internal healing as well. You are also welcome to call hear at the Cirque Lodge to learn more about the Family program or to help with directions or accommodations information at local affiliated hotels at 1-877-99-REHAB.

Breakfast and lunch are included in the Family Week scheduling. Family members can also take part in the weekly Alanon meeting that is available at the Cirque Lodge Studio Facility on Wednesday Evenings. Primarily, many of the elements of Family Week take place at the Studio Facility
