To accommodate a growing program, Cirque Lodge expanded to provide multiple residential drug and alcohol rehabs. The Studio facility was incorporated and allowed for a larger addiction treatment community. The Cirque Lodge Studio is home to our administrative offices, and serves as a venue for other programs used within the treatment community. The Cirque Lodge Studio Facility

The Studio derives its name from formerly being a movie and television production studio. The facility was renovated and restructured to allow for private and shared accommodations and living settings. There are a number of private and group rooms for performing the different elements that go into drug and alcohol abuse rehabs. The accommodations are comfortable and the facility provides a homelike environment. There are rooms for both male and female residents. The men's rooms are located on the first floor. Female residents are located on the third floor.

The Studio is located on 12-private acres, which are fenced and gated. Privacy is something we take seriously. It just simply is an element to our recovery program. The Studio facility is 250,000 sq. feet. This massive building provided Cirque Lodge with a number of indoor venues for some of our alcohol rehab elements. Treatment is an experience. We reach beyond the four walls of a therapy room and incorporate a number of recovery based activities. The Studio houses an indoor ropes course, as well as an indoor horse arena for participation in some of these activities. In the winter months, these indoor venues are quite beneficial.

The Alcohol Rehab Program at the Studio

The alcohol rehab program at Cirque Lodge is a balance of programs. You need a number of programs to truly get to the heart of the matter of alcoholism. Treatment itself is personalized for each resident. Personal and group therapies are used throughout each treatment day to help the individual through the recovery process. We also have a family program at Cirque Lodge. The family element is profoundly powerful at helping family members of alcoholics to heal as well.

Cirque Lodge is based on the 12-step recovery program developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. Many of the traditions and concepts of Alcoholics Anonymous are used. The Studio facility itself hosts a number of outside 12-step meetings at night. When clients have progressed through the alcohol rehab program, they are invited to attend outside Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and work with a sponsor. The 12-step piece helps the alcoholic after leave the Studio facility. It gives them perspective for how to continue the recovery process.

The unique balance to Cirque Lodge comes from our experiential program. This is an element where residents learn from hands on experience. This is where the ropes course and horse arena are used. In addition, outdoor nature activities are also used to enhance the recovery process. These activities are used for a number of concepts. They teach coping strategies, or concepts of 12-step elements. They provide vital lessons in communication and the importance for asking for help. It is a unique balance that has shown to be an extremely effective alcohol and drug rehab program.
