Cognitive rehabilitative therapy takes place through process groups and information rich lectures that held on a daily basis. The Disease Concept lecture explains the disease of drug addiction. Individual counseling with certified clinical therapists are scheduled twice weekly. Behaviors which lead to drug and alcohol use, commonly known as "triggers", are identified and then new coping skills are learned so relapse won't occur.

Twelve-Step Program Combined with Experiential Therapy

Participating in experiential activities gives a more hands on approach to the things taught here at Cirque Lodge. The Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics/Cocaine/Narcotics Anonymous make up the foundation of our residential drug treatment program. These fundamental activities provided by our residential treatment program, equip each individual with new coping mechanisms that will aid in long-term sobriety.

Cirque Lodge Treatment Centers

The residential drug treatment program here at Cirque Lodge is comprised of two main locations. The administrative facility is located at the Studio near the foot of majestic 12,000 foot Mount Timpanogos. The Studio has rooms for both male and female residents and is the home of the world's largest indoor ropes course, as well as our unique indoor horse arena. The Lodge is located in the spectacular mountains of Sundance. Both facilities are for adults age eighteen and older and pre-admission assessments are done to make sure Cirque Lodge is the right treatment option for you. Other common treatment options include day treatment or intensive outpatient treatment and short-term inpatient. We offer inpatient extended care and day treatment after having completed our 30 day primary program.
