It is a caring environment that surrounds the alcoholic with the needed support for overcoming the problem. A private environment is free from unwanted influences. This gives the individual overcoming alcoholism a chance to focus on the treatment and work at getting well again. Cirque Lodge provides two private alcohol rehab centers in the quiet mountains of Utah.

Cirque Lodge Alcohol Rehab Centers

Overlooking Sundance Ski Resort is the Lodge. The Lodge is a private mountain retreat, dedicated to treating individuals in the finest of residential alcohol rehab centers. The Lodge is a limited enrollment program, treating 16 residents at a time. It offers both private and shared accommodations, and a highly effective alcohol and drug rehab program. Luxury is emphasized at the Lodge. Residents are provided a world-class living and culinary experience, all while receiving the very best in personalized clinical care.

A few minutes away from the Lodge, in Orem Utah, is the Studio. The Studio rests at the mouth of Provo Canyon and provides a private alcohol rehab experience. The Studio is a larger enrollment program, with ample accommodations for both male and female residents. The Studio and Lodge share an identical modality for treating the disease of addiction. The difference is in the size of the facility. The Studio is home to the day-to-day operations of Cirque Lodge, and a venue for a number of experiential therapy activities.

Treatment and Programs

The private alcohol rehab centers at Cirque Lodge offer a unique and effective approach to treating those with alcoholism. At the heart of the program, is a personalized approach to meet the needs of each individual. A rigorous assessment is used to gain a better understanding of these needs. Addiction treatment is then tailored to provide specific care for the individual. Each resident works with a personal counselor during their stay. Counselors are licensed and provide one-on-one therapy for the individual. A bevy of therapy elements are used throughout the alcohol rehab stay. This is done on personal, group and family levels.

A different take on treating the disease of addiction comes in the form of experiential therapy. Daily activities are used to teach coping and recovery strategies. Alcohol rehab residents learn these strategies through the experience. A number of venues are used for experiential activities. We have horses, a ropes course and even a private helicopter that are used in our experiential piece. The most magnificent venue is the mountains themselves. A number of nature based activities are provided to help with the healing and support of the experiential aspect.

Alcohol treatment and therapy at Cirque Lodge also offers a focus on the family. The alcoholic alone may not be the only one who suffers; family members can also struggle with their loved ones drinking issues. Family Week is an integral part of the Cirque Lodge alcohol and drug rehab experience. Family week occurs every three weeks at both facilities. It consists of a number of programs, lectures and therapies that address alcoholism and drug addiction. It is powerful tool to educating and preparing the family for the recovery process.

After Leaving Alcohol Rehab

The impulses to drink must be managed throughout recovery. When clients are ready to leave our facility, they are provided a Continuing Care Plan. This plan consists of continued outpatient help and treatment elements. The personal counselor and our aftercare staff work with the resident in preparing a Counting Care Plan that meets their specific and personal needs. There are many elements of care and help available after alcoholism recovery and alcohol rehab centers are completed. These can be highly effective measures of relapse prevention. These elements are found in the Continuing Care Plan.

At the heart of our facility and the Continuing Care Plan is the 12-step program. Involvement in 12-step meetings and fellowships after leaving one of our private alcohol rehab centers can be a means of help, support and long term sobriety. Our aftercare staff works with each resident to find the best 12-step fellowships and meetings for the recovering alcoholic. There are many kinds of Alcoholics Anonymous fellowships available. Aftercare works to find the right AA fellowships to meet individual needs.
