Accredited Alcohol Treatment

The Cirque Lodge has a commitment to those they treat at our inpatient alcohol treatment center. It is a commitment to provide the very best in care and support, while supplying the highest levels of addiction treatment that we can. To allow us to do this, Cirque has obtained healthcare accreditation. This means as an alcohol and drug rehab program, Cirque can supply and meet healthcare needs of our clients. This is a national accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Healthcare accreditation is not required to operate a residential alcohol treatment center. Many alcohol rehab facilities do not even feel the need to obtain it. This accreditation provides guidelines on the way and manner our facility is ran. It provides us a focus on how to offer treatment, how to run our facility, and on our health care practices. To us, it is a standard to meet, to provide the highest levels of care, support, and treatment for our clients.

The Cirque Lodge Residential Facilities

Cirque Lodge consists of two facilities. Originally the Lodge opened its doors in 1999. However, this private and exclusive facility could not meet the needs of an ever expanding clientele. To meet these needs, Cirque Lodge expanded to the Studio facility. The Studio provides a venue for larger enrollment and accommodations for those in need of a lengthier treatment stay. Both facilities offer an identical program in a private alcohol treatment center. They allow us to provide recovery to a wider spectrum of individuals who need this type of care.

The Lodge - Nestled in the mountains of Sundance Utah rests the Lodge. The Cirque Lodge is our exclusive alcohol treatment center. It has limited enrollment of male and female residents, and provides the highest levels of a private recovery experience. The Lodge has all the feel of a 5-star mountain retreat. Residents enjoy a quiet time surrounded by the serenity of the mountains in a beautiful facility. Atop a spiral staircase is the Cirque meditation room. This is a place where residents can make life decisions and commune with their higher power.

The Studio - A few minutes away from the Lodge (A scenic drive through Provo Canyon), rests the Studio. The Studio is a larger enrollment community. While the Studio may not have the same exclusivity as the Lodge, residents still enjoy a private and luxury alcohol treatment center. The Studio is home to Cirque's administrative offices, and is also the facility where Family Week is hosted. This massive building provides the drug and alcohol rehab program with venues for different experiential activities; including indoor venues (when the whether is not so good).

Care Stays in Alcohol Treatment

Those of our residential alcohol treatment center can require different types of care, as well as differing amounts of time receiving rehabilitation. The Cirque Lodge program consists of a 30-day treatment stay. However, for individuals who require additional time in alcohol rehab, extended care is available.

Primary Care - Is the initial 30-day treatment stay at the Cirque Lodge. Alcohol treatment is personalized to provide each individual the specific care they stand in need of. This is balanced with group programs, educational lectures and workshops (topically based on addiction and recovery efforts), a family program and experiential activities. Cirque is based on the 12-step program. Primary care focuses on establishing these first steps with a solid foundation of spirituality.

Extended Care - Takes what was developed in the first 30-days and continues to build upon these things. Introduced into extended care are additional elements of 12-step work, as well as enrollment in other social programs. These elements help the recovering alcoholic to prepare for life after rehab is completed. 12-step groups become more a part of the recovery process in extended care. Residents begin to work with a temporary sponsor and to take larger recovery strides with the 12-step community.
