Following detox should be enrollment into our alcohol treatment program. Alcohol treatment at Cirque Lodge begins with a pre-intake assessment by our admissions staff. This assessment is to determine the proper measures of treatment for the alcohol addiction. In this assessment we like to know medical history and related drug history to determine of any immediate medical concerns. This also helps for use to determine if there are any co-occurring problems involved in the addiction. From this assessment we can design a personalized alcohol treatment plan specific for the needs of each resident.

Cirque Lodge is a dual diagnosis facility. We provide treatment for addiction and any co-occurring disorders as well. In some cases an individual will choose the self medication of alcohol as opposed to proper treatment for disorders such as depression or anxiety. As a dual diagnosis facility we can diagnose and treat these disorders accurately to help bring balance to an unstable central nervous system. Proper diagnosis is also needed to effectively determine what the disorder is and what is caused by addiction. Cirque Lodge Alcohol Treatment

Cirque Lodge utilizes the Alcoholics Anonymous' 12-step program in alcohol treatment. We incorporate into this modality an array of individual and group based therapies and programs. Many of these therapies are cognitive in nature working chiefly with the behavioral patterns of the individual with an alcohol addiction. We also provide effective independent therapy sessions to help determine and resolve any underlying conditions associated with addiction. Alcohol treatment at Cirque Lodge consists of a 30-day primary care addiction treatment program, following that continued care on an outpatient basis is recommended with help of our relapse prevention and aftercare programs. In cases of more serious a nature, Cirque Lodge also provides extended care for residents who need additional treatment. In the case of extended care, we at Cirque Lodge believe in taking a more aggressive approach at treating the addiction. We provide a bevy of additional coping strategies and service programs to help overcome the addiction and to introduce themselves to society again.

Incorporated into addiction treatment at Cirque Lodge is our experiential therapy program. This program provides a number of unique and challenging activities surrounded by nature. These activities include, hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, equine therapy, a ropes challenge course, and even private helicopter flights to remote mountain locations.
