No matter how free time is spent, clients can enjoy the chance to relax from the more rigorous portion of alcohol and drug treatment. Recently the Cirque program has added an art room as a part of treatment. Clients can have an enjoyable time learning to create arts and crafts. An interesting part of the art room is pottery. The art room is equipped with pottery tables and a kiln. Clients can learn from the pottery instructor new ways to express themselves through art. It should go without saying as well that working with clay can be very therapeutic. Why offer these different unique aspects that have nothing to do with addiction treatment? If you ask individuals who have been through the Cirque Lodge treatment program it is because it worked for them. When these people admit into an addiction treatment program they have an expectation to be treated right.
