Lodge and Studio Drug Addiction Center
Cirque Lodge consists of two facilities. When the Lodge first opened its doors, it was the small mountain retreat in Sundance Utah. From these small beginnings, Cirque Lodge has developed into quite the drug addiction and treatment program. To appease the demand for treatment, the Studio facility was introduced a few years later. This provided more rooms and more possibilities for the alcohol and drug rehab program here in Utah. Residents of the Cirque Lodge and Studio facility are provided the very same effective and personalized addiction treatment experience.
The Cirque Lodge in Sundance Utah is a 16 bed mountain retreat. This facility is the most private and exclusive that we offer. The facility has the rustic and luxury feel of a mountain lodge. The majority of rooms are shared, but those in need of private accommodations can request them. The Lodge is surrounded by the beauty and majesty of the mountains. This mountain location also provides residents with very high levels of privacy during their stay. Residents of this facility are surrounded by caring individuals and professionals willing to help them every step of the way in addressing their disease.
The Cirque Lodge Studio facility in Sundance Utah is a larger enrollment program. This 200,000 sq. ft. facility provides a number of rooms for men and residents. The men's accommodations are located on the ground floor; women's are on the top floor. The studio also functions as the administrative offices of Cirque Lodge, and is a venue for a number of experiential activities. The 17,000 ft. soundstage is a multipurpose room at the Studio. Primarily, it houses the ropes and challenge course of our
alcohol and drug addiction center. Despite the size of the facility and number of clientele, the alcohol and drug rehab program is personalized to treat each resident on individual terms.
Elements of the Cirque Lodge Treatment Program
There are just so many different elements to the Cirque Lodge drug addiction center and treatment program. The following are just a few of the forms of care and treatment that are offered here.
Therapy and
drug treatment play an integral role in the recovery process. This allows individuals to address some of their vulnerabilities in overcoming addiction and developing skills for sobriety. For the more personal concerns, one-on-one therapy is provided with a resident's primary counselor. Therapy and programs are also provided in a group setting as well. This can help to provide support and help from fellow residents. All treatment is based upon individual needs, and according the resident treatment plan.
Cirque Lodge is founded on the 12-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. This modality is used throughout treatment, and while in rehab residents begin to attend meetings. Concepts of the 12-steps and the Big Book of AA are utilized with experiential learning activities. These activities can be influential in reaching clients in a whole new light. Since time in rehab is not long enough to cover many of the steps, we strive to provide a solid foundation of the initial steps of the recovery process. After completion of treatment, the individual continues the steps through measures of aftercare and local 12-step meetings.
Alcoholism and drug addiction is very much a family struggle. A part of treatment in our
private drug addiction center is a specifically designed family program for residents and their loved ones. Every three weeks of alcohol and drug rehab is devoted to this program. This gives each resident a chance to involve their family. Family members can see the progress of their loved one treatment, and also receive help and rehabilitation for their own concerns.

Workshops and lectures are provided to educate family members, and therapy sessions are provided to address the personal and underlying family concerns. The focus on the family can get all those involved to be more prepared for the recovery process.
Continuing Help for the Recovery Process
Sobriety from addiction is a life long commitment, and the initial months following a stay in a drug addiction center and treatment program are the most critical. Just shortly before leaving Cirque Lodge, each resident works on a Continuing Care Plan for their recovery process. This consists of the programs, help and support that the individual will need to help them on their way to long term sobriety. The majority of these programs work on a voluntary and outpatient basis. The aftercare staff and the primary counselor work with the resident in developing this plan. Central to the plan is continuing on with the 12-steps, attending meetings and working with a sponsor.
A unique piece of continuing help offered at Cirque Lodge is our Guesting Privilege. Those who have completed our treatment program can return to the facility and guest with us for a few days. This privilege is free of charge and only available to those who have maintained sobriety. This privilege gives former clients a chance to return to our
inpatient drug addiction center and refocus efforts on recovery. The Cirque is a place of healing for many, and this chance to return can provide strength for those struggling in recovery.
