Experiential activities can be as simple as a mountain hike, all the way up to the challenge of our indoor ropes climbing center. The purpose is to provide the change in that person by experiencing things they never have before. It helps to make recovery and success more easily achieved.

Experiential therapy is also effective treatment for other aspects to alcohol or drug addiction. When addiction sets in, behavior is modified, and something as simple as communication and trust are damaged. Experiential therapy provides a number of effective activities to help with communication and trust, and behavior as well. We have activities in experiential therapy for all levels of physical capability, and have a number of unique opportunities to be had. These include equine therapy, a chance to learn fly fishing on the Provo River (a famous fly fishing destination), and even the unique chance to experience the mountains in our private helicopter. Length of Stay for Drug Rehab

The length of stay for residents solely depends on the severity of addiction. Primary care is a 30-day treatment program. Primary care is a balance of personal treatment and experential programs for each client. Upon completion of primary care, additional outpatient aftercare programs are provided to contiue the recovery process. We incorporate into extended care social programs, outpatient support groups, and an addiction sponsor into the process. We also have involved alumni programs and a reunion to help former clients continue in building support in recovery.

Aftercare and the Drug Rehab Program

To assist in the recovery process, Cirque Lodge offers up to a year of aftercare. Overcoming an addiction takes time.
