Treatment at Cirque Lodge is a balance of individual, group and family therapies. A personalized clinical approach allows our addiction treatment staff to address the specific needs of the individual. Many of the elements used in the Cirque Lodge drug rehab programs can also be found in traditional addiction programs. However, there are unique aspects to the Cirque that have brought it to the forefront in the addiction treatment community. 12-Step Drug Rehab Program

Like most addiction programs, Cirque Lodge is founded on the 12-step program. Alcohol and drug addiction takes time to overcome. The 12-step program provides a guideline for managing the addiction. A daily focus on recovery, with the goal of achieving the 12-steps, provides the individual with a long term plan to overcoming their drug or alcohol problem. All of the elements within the Cirque Lodge drug rehab program are rooted in the foundation of the 12-steps.

It takes time to work through the elements of the 12-step process. The time spent in our addiction treatment facility is not nearly enough to achieve many of the steps. Our focus is to provide a solid foundation of the initial steps. Through treatment clients become aware of their addictions problems. They understand the need of a higher power in their lives. After rehab is completed, the 12-steps are continued through the assistance of meetings and sponsors. The drug rehab process at Cirque Lodge includes a continuing care plan where 12-step meetings and groups are prepared for the client in recovery.

Personalized Drug Rehab

To provide the most effective results for the individual, the drug rehab program is personalized for each client. A thorough assessment process of each individual lays the groundwork for a personalized treatment plan. Clients are provided their own addiction counselor and case worker. Throughout the drug rehab program clients can work with their counselor in an on-on-one setting. The treatment staff meets together daily to address the progress of each client, or what can be done to better treat the individual when more progress is needed.

Addiction treatment is not nearly as effective with just a standard program. People have different needs. They have different problems when it comes to using and abusing addictive substances. They require a different levels and forms of treatment from an addiction treatment facility. A personalized program allows us as a treatment center to find what our clients most specifically need. We emphasize these things throughout the recovery process.

Balanced with Experiential Activity

When Cirque Lodge was established years ago, part of the program was to use the natural beauties of the mountain as a recovery element. A drug rehab with an experiential program accommodates just this. Today, the experiential program is an integral part of the Cirque Lodge drug rehab program. Experiential activities are used as a daily part of the treatment experience. They provide their own unique elements of the recovery process. Experiential activities include many mountain elements like hiking, fishing, and snowshoeing. The Studio facility of Cirque Lodge is also home to experiential activities indoors. We are known for our equine program. This is a unique recovery experience where drug rehab clients work with horses.

Experiential activities have many purposes. They provide a different recovery experience for each individual. They also teach important recovery and coping skills. Some activities are meant to establish trust and emphasize the importance of communication. Experiential activities also are meant to provide vital spiritual experiences for recovery. Such experiences can provide an internal shift for overcoming drugs and alcohol.
