Recovery from alcohol and drug addiction is a process. It takes time and effort to overcome the struggles that addiction presents. For most who suffer from addiction, a drug rehab personal treatment program can supply answers for overcoming the problem. Additional and continued programs are needed after rehab is completed. At Cirque Lodge, we provide this with additional continued programs. Involvement in continuing programs can be beneficial to overcoming the addiction and finding long term recovery.

12-step Drug Rehab

Cirque Lodge is based on the 12-step program to recovery. Our alcohol and drug rehab facility provides a bevy of treatments that are founded on the approach of the 12-step modality. We use an experiential program and nature to help enhance the spiritual elements of the 12-step program. Clients can use these activities as a means to receiving a vital spiritual experience. Such experiences can create a needed internal shift for recovery. It is a change of conviction and focus.

The time spent in our drug rehab facility isn't nearly long enough to work the 12-steps. Primarily our treatment focus is to help individual clients establish the initial steps of this program. Once the drug rehab program is completed, continued help and support from 12-step program help to advance the individual through the recovery process successfully. We strive to help Cirque Lodge clients find the best 12-step meetings and programs to help them.

Continuing Care Plan

As our clients near the completion of their addiction and drug rehab program, they work with their personal counselor and our aftercare staff on a plan of action. The continuing care plan consists of a number of elements to continue the recovery process away from our facility. Like addiction treatment at Cirque Lodge, the continuing care plan is personalized to help meet the needs of the individual. Continuing care plans consist of additional programs and help from outside recovery programs and groups. For some this can involve therapy and additional group therapies. Our aftercare staff works with each client to find what would help them best in staying sober.

A foundation of a continuing care plan is continued involvement in 12-step programs and meetings. Our aftercare staff works diligently to provide and find these meetings for our clients in their own communities. Such meetings can provide needed support for working the recovery process. Active involvement in 12-step elements can greatly enhance the success of overcoming alcohol and drug addiction. Cirque Lodge also plays host to a number of outside 12-step programs for our local community.

Privileges after Drug Rehab

We strive to help our clients achieve and maintain successful recovery. We provide our alumni with privileges to help them throughout the recovery process. We have aftercare groups for local Alumni. They also have a number of social activities and parties for Cirque Alum. Another privilege we offer is involvement in our family program. Every three weeks of treatment is dedicated to the family. It consists of a number of lectures, groups and activities to help the family. Cirque Lodge Alumni are invited to come and participate in this program. This can help them in times of struggle.

Our most important privilege for former clients is guesting. The Guesting Privilege allows former clients to return to our alcohol rehab and drug rehab facility for up to 96 hours. This is a free privilege for alumni to help them in the recovery process. Clients can return for a few days and recharge themselves for recovery. This privilege is only available for individuals who have stayed sober. It can help them in those times when they are tempted to begin using again. We want our clients to find a lasting long term sobriety. The continuing efforts of our drug rehab active program can help individuals find a lasting answer for drug and alcohol addiction.
