Primary care is provided at both Lodge and Studio facilities. Primary care is a balanced and effective 30-day addiction treatment experience. Within these 30-days our clients receive personalized care, the 12-step program, experiential therapy as well as family therapy. Upon completion of the 30-day drug rehab program our clients are provided with aftercare services to help provide a means of relapse prevention. If additional treatment is needed Cirque Lodge gladly offers an drug rehab extended care program at our Studio facility.

Personalized Drug Rehab

A client in drug rehab primary care benefits from a personalized addiction treatment experience. Personalizing the program is an effective approach to addressing the personal issues of addiction. Addiction is different in each client. For some addiction can be caused by an emotional or mood disorder. For others, addiction is a way to suppress the painful memories of the past. Drug rehab with a personalized program offers a one-on-one approach to address the issues and to discover ways to cope with them.

During primary care, the client benefits from having a personal addiction counselor. The counselor works with the client through the addiction treatment experience. An open conversation with client and counselor can help to clear up concerns within the client. It is also a chance to tailor the drug rehab program to best meet the needs of the client. Experiential Drug Rehab

A part of primary care is also elements of our experiential program. Daily experiential activities are provided to balance the addiction treatment experience with activity. Experiential activities can consist of outdoor nature hikes, river rafting, fly fishing, or our indoor ropes course. These activities are a therapeutic release from the strain of overcoming drug addiction. They also are extremely effective at providing education and coping strategies for life after rehab. For many, it is the experiential piece at Cirque Lodge that offers them the needed change from within. The addiction treatment experience at Cirque Lodge is incomplete without the experiential program.

One experiential therapy we are known for is our equine program. Working with horses is profoundly effective for those overcoming alcohol and drug addiction. The horse functions as a natural intervention between the client and their addiction. Working with the horse develops skills in communication and trust. It also teaches invaluable lessons in asking for help and the importance of support from others. Equine therapy is offered for each client in primary care. The Studio facility is equipped with both indoor and outdoor equine therapy venues. No matter the time of year, our clients can enjoy equine therapy as a part of the addiction treatment experience.

Family Week Programs

One of our drug rehab unique programs is of course our family program. Working with the family is integral to the recovery process. We invite the family members and close loved ones of those in primary care to come and attend this specialized program for families. It is so much more than just a visit with the loved one in treatment. The family program is designed to help the family address the personal family issues that can cause addiction. Addictive behavior is greatly enabled by issues in the family. Family week prepares those in attendance to provide support and avoid the risks of enabling.

The family program consists of experiential activities to be enjoyed as a family. The environment of experiential therapy creates a chance for self discovery as well as learning vital strategies and skills against addiction. The family also has a chance to enjoy some of the food that our clients enjoy. Our kitchen chefs work diligently to prepare a delicious breakfast and lunch for those who come to family week.
