The experiential program at Cirque Lodge allows our clients to take full advantage of our mountain location. We provide daily experiential activities as a part of our drug rehab recovery program. Many of these activities are in the out of doors in nature. Nature provides its own element of healing to the troubled soul. When surrounded by the beauties and peacefulness of the mountains, new lives are forged, free from alcohol and drug addiction. Experiential activities include: nature hikes, river walks, fly fishing, as well and snow shoeing in the winter. Taking advantage of these activities can provide a therapeutic release from the rigors of intense addiction treatment.

One of the most special experiential nature activities involves seeing the mountain from a completely different vantage point. Cirque Lodge has its very own private helicopter. This luxury flying machine is used to transport the clients of our drug rehab studio to remote locations inaccessible by any other means. During this enjoyable flight, our clients experience wildlife and the beauties of the mountain on a first hand basis. The flight stops at remote locations where our drug rehab clients can get out and hike around a little. The silence and peace of these remote locations is unmatched. It is truly a sight to behold. The residents of our drug rehab facility are given a number of coping tools and strategies to help them on the rigorous road of life. Aftercare allows us to expand the support network from our treatment facility to the client's area of residency. Aftercare includes support programs, addiction sponsors, and for some that so choose, sober living environments. We want each treatment stay to be a successful one.

Cirque Lodge also offers the graduates of the drug rehab program a lifetime of guesting opportunities. Recovery can be difficult at times. It means giving up something that had control of the mind and body. The guesting privilege allows the drug rehab client to return to the Studio and "recharge" their recovery batteries. Guesting privilege is just for a few days, but can make recovery more worth it. This program is based upon room availability, and is only offered to those who have stayed sober and not relapsed back into addiction. With that, we also allow our alumni to return for family week and enjoy the lectures and activities.

It never seems to amaze us the amounts of alumni that return each year for the alumni reunion. In the fall, the Cirque Lodge facility plays host to the alumni reunion. Over the years, due to the success of the addiction treatment program, our numbers have grown significantly. It still touches us to see some of the original clients return each year, still in successful recovery. It gives our alumni the chance to return to the mountains and experience the same places and activities that helped them originally in their recovery. It also continues to supply each client a drug rehab sponsor.
