Each client is personally assessed when they are admitted to the program. This is a rigorous assessment process that brings very specific results. The assessment includes time spent with our psychiatrist to address any dual diagnosis concerns. The results of this assessment are developed into a treatment plan for the individual. This is the plan that is carried out by our experienced staff. It is continually adjusted based upon the progress on the individual in drug rehab.

A Balance of Experiential Learning

Where Cirque Lodge is unique is with our balance of experiential activities with the more traditional drug rehab activity. We have for our clients a number of venues and activities to assist them in developing recovery strategies. It is a daily part of our addiction treatment program. Each day, clients have the opportunity to get off the therapists couch and apply what is being learned in treatment. It also creates an environment for enjoyment, in what is usually a difficult experience.

A reason for the experiential activities is our unique location. We are nestled in the mountains of Sundance Utah. Our mountain location gives our clients a place for healing and recovery. We also use the mountains as a venue for a number of experiential outings. During a drug rehab stay, clients can be struggling inside. Out on the mountain, surrounded by nature, it is easy to find a healing for the spirit. We have hiking, biking, rock climbing, river rafting, and even snow shoeing in the winter. Our experiential program is profoundly powerful. It can help to restore some of the hope that is lost in the despair of drug addiction, while providing proper means of drug rehab support.

Extended Drug Rehab Stay

Cirque Lodge consists of a 30-day treatment program. However, thirty days isn't nearly enough for some. For individuals in need of additional care, an extended drug rehab stay is available. Extended care builds upon the initial addiction treatment program. Clients are introduced to additional recovery programs like NA or AA, as well as working with a sponsor. As a 12-step drug rehab facility, we focus on covering additional steps of the recovery process.

When it is time for our clients to leave, they are not left alone. We provide each client with drug rehab aftercare aspects. These come through a continuing care plan specific to their recovery. This plan is to help them continue their alcohol rehab and drug rehab stay through outpatient programs. The initial months of recovery can be most critical. The continuing care plan provides a number of elements to help the individual through these initial months. Cirque Lodge also provides guesting privileges and weekly aftercare meetings for our drug rehab alumni.
