Drug Rehab Studio

Cirque Lodge, Sundance Utah, is a nationally recognized alcohol rehab and drug rehab program. Cirque Lodge is divided into two facilities. The Lodge is a private retreat in Sundance Utah. The Studio is a larger community based drug rehab facility in Orem Utah. The drug rehab studio is home to the day to day operations and many of the experiential therapy activities of the Cirque Lodge addiction treatment center. The Studio derives its name from formerly being a 100,000 square foot television production facility. This massive building was also the perfect facility for a drug rehab program. The studio location offers accommodations for male and female clients. These are separate living accommodations. The men reside on the first floor, while the women rooms are on the third floor. Our clients benefit from the finest of accommodations and living experiences while in treatment for addiction.

The drug rehab lodge and Studio is filled with a number of rooms for use by the addiction treatment center. Cirque Lodge offers the finest balance of personal and group based programs for alcohol and drug addiction. We have many large and small meeting rooms to accommodate groups, as well as private offices for working in one-on-one treatment. The most impressive of these meeting rooms is the 17,000 square foot sound stage. This is used in the treatment program for group meetings, family week and our experiential program.

Aspects of the Drug Rehab Studio

There are many aspects to the studio that make it truly a unique addiction treatment center. The third floor dining room provides a first class dining experience. The dining room has comfortable couches, a custom stone fireplace, and floor to ceiling windows. These windows provide views of the beautiful mountain surroundings. Our clients are provided three delicious meals each day in the dining room. These meals are nutritiously designed to help promote good eating habits that oftentimes can suffer at the hands of alcohol and drug addiction. The eating experience is one of the great advantages to the studio.

In the summer months, the studio has a beautiful rose garden as well as an organic garden. Our clients are allowed to enjoy these gardens as a part of the experiential drug rehab activities. You may not realize it, but working in a garden can be quite therapeutic. It can be a helpful experience when dealing with personal addiction issues. It is also a chance to get outside the addiction treatment center and take in some fresh air. In the middle of the rose garden is a beautiful gazebo. This gazebo is a quiet place to read and meditate, two activities that can enhance the success of the drug rehab program. The residents of the studio also have opportunity to make dishes and meals with the vegetables that are grown in the organic garden. It is nice to be able to put something into the body that is healthy and non addictive.

The studio is also home to a recording facility. The recording studio is used mainly for administrative purposes, including the management of the Cirque Lodge website. Our drug rehab clients do have the chance to enjoy some group sessions and experiences within the recording studio. The studio is a magnificent place and just adds to the ambience of the drug rehab facility. The recording studio is also home to Country Cirque, a syndicated country dedication program. Clients of the facility are invited to come to the recording studio and perform their own dedication for those who were instrumental in their recovery.

Experiential Therapy at the Drug Rehab Studio

The drug rehab studio also allows us to perform many exciting year round experiential therapy activities. Experiential therapy is an innovative and unique aspect to our program. Many people feel it is the aspect that grants Cirque Lodge such effectiveness. The massive studio addiction treatment center allows us to perform many of these activities indoors. This is the advantage to the drug rehab studio. Our clients can enjoy these activities in the colder months when snow is on the ground. The studio has an art room, equipped with pottery tables and even a kiln. It's a chance to express feelings in working with clay and art.

The 17,000 foot sound stage in the drug rehab studio is used for experiential therapy. Within the sound stage is the world's largest indoor ropes course. Ropes activities are extremely effective at challenging the addiction as well as the cognitive functions affected by extended alcohol or drug abuse. The sound stage also has an authentic Native American Teepee used in experiential therapy, as well as an archery course. The drug rehab program is centered on daily experiential therapy. Activities in the ropes course are always changing and are both effective and fun at recovering from drug addiction.

The drug rehab studio is also home to the horses used in equine therapy. Equine therapy is one of the most recognized experiential activities used at Cirque Lodge. The indoor horse arena at Cirque Lodge allows us to use equine therapy year round. Working with horses is a therapeutic aspect to the drug rehab experience. Throughout the stay of our clients, they can benefit from the healing provided them by experiential activities. These activities are made a comfortable experience by the studio facility.

Extended Care at the Drug Rehab Studio

The Cirque Lodge drug rehab studio is also home to our extended care program. For most individuals, a 30-day treatment program is simply not enough time for recovery. For those in need of additional treatment, the studio offers extended care programs. The drug rehab program is taken further in extended care. Our clients participate in continued programs to work additional steps of the 12-step modality. They are provided an addiction sponsor to work towards recovery with.

Extended care at the studio is so much more than just repeating the 30-day program. We focus more on the underlying issues of alcohol or drug addiction. We provide aspects of building social skills and incorporation into society again. These are things that can make all the difference in a successful recovery. When those in treatment can successfully change their behavior to challenge the impulse of addiction, it makes recovery easier.
