Our addiction treatment facility is known for an effective drug rehab balanced program. All treatment is based upon meeting the personal needs of the individual. Experiential Activities in Drug Rehab

When Cirque Lodge was established, part of the treatment philosophy was to involve our mountain location in the recovery process. This became the experiential piece to our drug rehab program. The mountains and nature are now an integral part of our approach to addiction treatment. Clients have ample opportunities to be out in nature, involved in a number of activities to help them experience the majesty and serenity of the mountains. Activities include nature hikes, river rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing, snow shoeing, and even learn to fly fish. Cirque Lodge even has a private helicopter that takes drug rehab clients on flights to remote and private mountain locations. It provides an enjoyable release to the more rigorous elements of the drug rehab therapy program.

Cirque Lodge has two facilities. The Studio drug rehab program provides a unique venue. The Studio facility is also a unique venue for a number of experiential activities. The size of the Studio allows our experiential program to develop a number of activities that are indoors. It all begins with our ropes course and climbing facility. The ropes course is in a 17,000 square foot sound stage and is a venue for a number of climbing and skill building activities. One of our most profound programs is equine therapy (working with horses). We have indoor and outdoor venues for clients to work with horses. The Studio also has an art room, complete with pottery wheels and a kiln for finish work. These venues provide a needed release from dealing with the issues of addiction.

The Impact of Experiential Learning

A lot of people wonder what all of this has to do with treating alcohol or drug addiction. You'd be surprised. Our experiential program offers a number of profound elements to the recovery process. Foremost it is an applied learning program. Individuals in recovery can have their ear talked off, and not have it work.
