Balance to Treatment
Alcohol and drug rehab at Cirque Lodge is an effective balance of clinical therapies, the 12-step program and experiential activities. Treatment is all based upon the needs of the individual. A rigorous assessment process is used to determine the best course for treatment. The program consists of personal, group and family therapies that are entirely based upon the personal needs of the client. Each resident is also provided their own addiction counselor who provides one-on-one therapy according to client need.
All treatment is based on the 12-step program developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. Alcohol and drug rehab consists of programs to introduce the 12-steps to residents, as well as establish a solid foundation of the initial steps of recovery. When residents have been within the program for a time, evening 12-step meetings are attended and a sponsor is appointed. Upon completion of treatment, a plan is put into place to continue involvement in a 12-step fellowship and meetings. Such fellowships and meetings can be a needed crutch for support and staying sober.
A unique change to drug rehab comes in the form of our experiential program. This program uses indoor and outdoor activities as an element of traditional treatment. To overcome addiction, a person must make changes internally. A number of experiential activities teach lessons on recovery. They force the addict/alcoholic to use cognitive solutions other than the addictive mindset. Nature based activities are provided to help rebuild the human spirit. Such vital spiritual experiences can create a needed internal shift. The balance to treatment at Cirque Lodge can provide answers to those in need of alcohol or drug rehab to overcome their addictions.
