Just the Beginning of a Recovery Process

Alcohol or drug rehab is just the beginning of a recovery process. Rehab provides treatment to put the disease of addiction into remission. It also lays the ground work for what the individual must do to obtain successful recovery. The controlled environment within a rehab facility can provide a safe haven and starting point for embarking on this process.  At the Cirque, the alcoholic/addict is surrounded by a caring treatment and support for the life changing decisions. It is our hope that the individual will take great strides while in treatment and use the tools they developed for long term sobriety.

Alcoholism and drug addiction can bring many negatives into an individual’s life.  They become subject to seeking and using their drug of choice. The means to a productive life is all too often hindered by the need to use or drink. Chemical dependency can bring a lot of hopelessness and despair. Finding a lasting recovery from alcohol or drugs is a personal commitment. It is still up to the individual whether they continue to work the steps and continue to stay active and involved in their recovery. At Cirque Lodge, it is a commitment to provide the individual with opportunities for a vital spiritual experience. Such an experience can create a displacement internally.
