Cirque Lodge Staff, Drug Rehab CareAlcohol rehab and drug rehab care begins with the staff at Cirque Lodge. We understand that when people come to rehab that it may not be under the most pleasant of circumstances. Members of staff are always available to provide help and support, as well as a listening ear and concern. When residents first come to the Cirque for alcohol or drug rehab, great care is taken on making sure that the individual is comfortable. The initial days of addiction treatment can be most critical and we strive to offer the utmost in comfort, care and support within this time.

Members of staff are always available to residents. Around the clock care can be integral during the first few days of treatment. Addiction withdrawal can cause an unwanted anxiety; it can make it difficult to sleep. Cirque Lodge staff works around the clock and can help with relaxation amenities, or by meeting resident needs’. We feel to provide the very best program you have got to back it with the very best staff. The Cirque Lodge treatment team is made up of some of the finest licensed professionals and clinicians.

Dual Diagnosis Drug Rehab Care

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

Therapy Session in Drug RehabDual diagnosis treatment can be a means to properly addressing a drug or alcohol addiction. A dual diagnosis alcohol or drug rehab provides care for issues that extend beyond the struggles of addiction. Psychiatric disorders oftentimes can play a large role in the development and struggles of substance abuse problems. An addiction treatment facility that offers dual diagnosis care provides programming and therapies for such disorders in addition to the traditional efforts of drug or alcohol rehab treatments. Cirque Lodge is a dual diagnosis facility. Individuals in need of treatment for co-occurring problems, such as mood disorder or eating disorders, are provided with a professional individualized program.

Those who struggle with a psychiatric disorder are more susceptible to influences and addictiveness of drugs or alcohol. Disorders like this effect the chemical structure of the central nervous system similar to the ways that drugs and alcohol do. People will oftentimes turn to such substances as a way to self-medicate away such conditions, problems and feelings in their lives. This self-medicating can eventually turn into substance abuse and chemical dependency. Now the problem is compounded by the struggles of needing, seeking and using drugs or alcohol.

The Cirque Lodge alcohol and drug rehab program is individualized for clients. For those in need of dual diagnosis care, a treatment plan is developed that covers programming for the disorder and also care for the addiction. Clients meet with members of our treatment team throughout their stay to determine the proper course of action for continuing dual diagnosis care. All the while a supportive staff and community work to help with arresting the disease of addiction. This is accompanied with recovery strategies that can be utilized for both aspects of the co-occurring condition.

Extending a Drug Rehab Stay

Monday, November 1st, 2010

Extended Drug Rehab at the StudioThe duration of stay in alcohol rehab or drug rehab depends on the individual. At Cirque Lodge, we begin with a 30-day treatment stay for those in need of addiction treatment. Extended treatment is also offered to further the recovery program at the Cirque. A 60, 90-day, or lengthier program can provide a much more effective outcome for those looking to find recovery from their addictions. Many addiction treatment facilities and drug rehabs have changed their curriculum to a 90-day only program. At the Cirque, the length of a treatment stay is left up to the resident and their family. However, professional counsel and advice is offered on whether additional extended care would be beneficial to the resident.

Extending drug rehab at Cirque Lodge is a solid step forward in the recovery process. The personalized addiction treatment program is taken further in these efforts. Individualized care provides a more intensive look at the underlying sources of the addiction struggle. Extended care also gives the individual a greater opportunity to work on their foundation of 12-steps and to further their step work with additional programs. Social and occupational help is also looked into with clients to help them prepare for life after rehab is completed.

Perhaps the most important aspect of an extended drug rehab stay is more time and practice in sobriety. This is more time away from the influences of addiction and more time the body, mind and spirit has to heal from these struggles. Each day in drug rehab can be building the strength and resolve of recovery. It gives the individual more time to work on their own recovery effort through a balance of therapeutic programs. The difference between someone who is one day sober and one who has several years of sobriety is time. Extended drug rehab care provides the time needed to arrest the disease in a controlled and safe environment.

Clients are personally treated at Cirque Lodge. Upon admission into alcohol or drug rehab, a treatment plan is developed based on individual needs and thorough assessment. To assist in this personalized treatment, a counselor is assigned to the resident. A caring counselor is a licensed professional and oversees the entire treatment experience of the individual. The primary counselor at Cirque Lodge is also available for group and family treatment help as well. They provide counsel in helping the individual with their long term sobriety goals. Cirque Lodge has brought recovery to many individuals. At the heart to much of this is a caring addiction counselor.  They offer a commitment and provide the utmost in therapy, treatment and support for those of our alcohol and drug rehab facility.

Extended Care Stays at Cirque Lodge

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

A longer stay in alcohol or drug rehab can be advantageous. It gives the individual greater time to work on their recovery in a controlled environment. It can also help with the transition period of getting back to a productive lifestyle. For individuals in need of additional treatment and recovery programming, Cirque Lodge offers extended care stays at our Studio facility. Extended care continues the efforts of the first 30-days of treatment and introduces additional programming for the recovery process.

The first 30-days are carefully structured to help put the disease of addiction into remission. Once the individual begins to make progress in the steps of recovery, they are provided with additional elements of support and fellowship. These involve outside 12-step meetings and working with a sponsor. This can help them to prepare for that transitional stage and working with these recovery efforts on their own after rehab is completed. Extended care also provides a platform for continuing the steps within a rehab setting. The fourth step of recovery can be difficult for some. The caring and controlled environment of Cirque Lodge can be a needed backdrop for making progress in this step.

Many treatment centers are changing their programming to a 90-day treatment stay. Lengthier rehab stays have shown greater success results for some programs. At Cirque, this decision is left up to the resident and their families whether a 60 day or 90 day treatment is needed. Our clinical professionals are more than happy to counsel on extended care and offer advice. A longer treatment stay does give the individual a greater time to work at their recovery with fewer distractions. In can also improve the foundation to a long term commitment to sobriety.

Facilities, Treatment, Recovery

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

At Cirque, we strive to make all elements of our facilities as nice as they can be. Alcoholics and drug addicts can have a lot of misconceptions when it comes to “rehab” in general. With the accommodations, amenities and food, many of these misconceptions are stripped away. Those entering into alcohol or drug rehab can be scared of the unknown; some enter treatment kicking and screaming. But most of the times, when they get here and experience the nice things, the kindness of the staff, they can begin to feel more comfortable in the surround. This comfort can lead to becoming more involved in the recovery experience, and also making life changing decisions.

At the Cirque Lodge, we strive to make the rehabilitation program as effective as it can be. Even though we are a private and luxury style facility, the treatment is still rigorous and professional. Each resident undertakes their own personalized treatment experience. Residents are provided a battery of therapies and treatment elements. All of this is balanced with the healing and effective forms of experiential work that we offer residents. Our clinical team is made up of licensed professionals, who are dedicated to providing the utmost in care, support and therapy for residents.

We also strive to provide the tools and skills needed for long term recovery. We are founded on the 12-step program. We strive to help each individual in making connections to their higher power. With this come spiritual changes that are a powerful piece to recovery.  Programs and activities are provided to teach the recovering alcoholic/addict how to have in their sobriety. The facilities, treatment and experiences can help you or your loved one overcome the struggles of chemical dependency.

The Culinary Experience at Cirque Lodge

Cirque Lodge Chef Preparing a Meal

At Cirque Lodge, We provide residents nice accommodations and amenities for their treatment stay. One of these amenities is a delicious culinary experience. As a high end alcohol and drug rehab, we strive to make the dining reflect the highest levels of luxury. During a stay in rehab, residents are provided three well balanced meals each day. There are also snacks and drinks when needed. These meals are prepared by the Cirque chefs, and reflect that of gourmet dining.

Well balanced meals help the alcoholic/addict in receiving proper nutrients in their system. Some drugs can greatly suppress the appetite. Alcoholics can subsist for times on a “liquid” diet, where liquor is all that is consumed. These behaviors can leave the physical well being of the individual in sad shape. When they come to alcohol and drug rehab at Cirque Lodge, Physical recovery is provided with these well balanced meals and an active approach addiction treatment.

The culinary experience at Cirque Lodge is also sensitive to dietary needs of residents. Our chefs can prepare specific meals for specialty diets and concerns. Individuals can have varying dietary needs, like kosher or vegetarian. One in particular that is faced in alcohol and drug rehab are alcoholics who have type II diabetes. With proper notice, we can meet the needs of our residents’ dietary needs and help to improve their recovery experience here.

Aftercare, Continuing on After Drug Rehab

Friday, August 28th, 2009

Waterfall Near Cirque LodgeFriday morning of Family Week is a lecture on aftercare. Time spent receiving alcohol or drug rehab is only the beginning. The recovering alcoholic/addict is put on the right path with treatment and therapy for their addiction. Following alcohol and drug rehab, the individual must continue to work daily at maintaining their sobriety. Aftercare programs can continue to provide help and support. The aftercare lecture helps to inform family members on how they can be involved with their loved ones aftercare efforts.

Prior to completing alcohol or drug rehab, the resident works with aftercare and their primary counselor on developing a Continuing Care Plan for their recovery. There are many forms of additional treatment and sobriety help for those in recovery. These are laid out in the Continuing Care Plan. Following this plan can be a means to staying focused on recovery efforts. Such a focus can be a foundation against a relapse from occurring.

The central piece to the Continuing Care Plan is continuing to work the 12-step process. Alcohol and drug rehab begins the 12-steps, but only the first few are addressed. When rehab is completed, the individual must voluntarily work at completing the rest of the steps. Help and support are provided through Anonymous based support groups, like NA or AA. There are even support groups for family members like Alanon/Alateen. Recovery from addiction is a process. It has many ups and downs. Involvement in support groups and working the steps of recovery are a good foundation at achieving a long term sobriety goal.
