Extended Care in Alcohol or Drug Rehab

30 days in alcohol and drug rehab may not be enough time for some individuals. Some may benefit much more from a 60 or 90 day treatment plan. Extended care programs at Cirque Lodge are step forward and not a step back.  Personalized treatment is continually tailored to address individual needs, as the individual begins to on the additional steps of recovery. Extended care usually occurs at our Studio facility in Orem Utah, which is also home to a number of local 12-step meetings. A part of this care is to become involved with a 12-step fellowship and even work with a sponsor.

Many alcohol and drug rehab facilities have changed their curriculum to a 90-day program. Studies have shown that longer stays in rehab yield more successful results.  At Cirque, we still leave that up to the client and their families. However, our clinical staff and counselors are available to discuss extended treatment stays and can make professional recommendations for residents if needed.

When an extended care stay is completed, the resident is provided a Continuing plan for their recovery process. This plan consists of additional elements of outpatient help and recovery groups. Each resident can work with our aftercare staff in coming up with an effective plan for their recovery process. Cirque alumni are also given a lifetime privilege of guesting at the facility, when they need a little additional help for relapse prevention. For many individuals suffering from alcohol or drug addiction, the 30-day program is just not enough. At the Cirque, extended care and additional treatment is available.
