Family Program in Drug Rehab
Sometimes, it isn’t the addict alone who is suffering. The addict’s behavior has also had a strain and impact on family members as well. While the addict is in drug rehab getting well, the family member could very well still be suffering. This can be hard to deal with. It can also cause a problem in recovery.
To address this, Cirque Lodge offers an involved family program as a part of treatment. The family program takes place every three weeks of the treatment process. This allows every client to benefit from the program. Clients are encouraged to invite family members and close loved ones to attend. The program itself involves a number of elements and events. Family members get to experience many aspects of Cirque Lodge, as well as experiential activities. They are educated on the nature of addiction, and the importance of the families role in recovery.
This environment can be influential on family members who may be struggling. Group and personal therapies are provided. In these sessions, families are allowed to discuss and address some underlying issues that the addiction has brought about.
