Reconnecting in Drug Rehab

The influence of nature and the mountain are used in making these connections. We give our residents many opportunities to get out onto the mountain and make these connections on their own. Many of our nature based activities teach concepts of 12-step recovery. They even give the residents a chance for alone time and personal meditation. A solid connection to one’s higher power can change the outlook on the recovery process. It can be the influencing factor in times of struggle, when the impulse to use is strong.
