Alcohol and Drug Rehab, Detox and Treatment
When it comes to the point where the addiction problem is too much, usually the answer is alcohol and drug rehab. This process will almost always begin with detoxification. This is the process of ridding the body of the drug and alcohol toxins and treating any negative withdrawals. The length of detox stay depends on the type of drug and how long it takes to get the individual stabilized. Some drugs do take a while before the withdrawal symptoms peak. Alcohol can also require a lengthier detox.
It is sometimes a misconception that detox is all that is needed. Detox should immediately be followed by treatment. Just because drugs and alcohol are out of the system, doesn’t mean the impulse to use drugs and alcohol are as well. Therapy and treatment are the elements needed to reduce and eliminate this impulse. The impulse to use is lessened over time. Detox is a serious issue that is best left to the medical professionals. Following detox, clients are transported to the Cirque Lodge Facility in one of our private unmarked vehicles.
