Sleep in Drug Rehab
When people are addicted to drugs or alcohol, the body becomes dependent on them. They must have the addictive substance within the system at all times just to maintain a feeling of normalcy. When the drug or drink is not within the system, the body can experience withdrawal. Many times this comes in the form of anxiety. In alcohol and drug rehab, people who are new to the program can struggle to sleep, due to this anxiety.
At Cirque Lodge, we emphasize comfort and a homelike environment. Comfortable accommodations can ease some of the stress of addiction withdrawal. In those first few days of alcohol and drug rehab, it can be difficult to sleep. A number of amenities are provided for our residents to help them get some sleep. Each evening a closing group is provided to help residents meditate and relax. A sauna session can provide relaxation. 24 hour care is available for those who just can’t get to sleep. Caring staff members are there around the clock to provide help and support.
