Working in Recovery for Those in Treatment
When talking to a member of the Cirque Lodge staff, many of them can tell you their own recovery story. Many staff members have walked a similar road of addiction, and have found their own successful recovery. For residents of the Cirque Lodge facilities, it gives them a chance to work with someone who has had very similar experiences. It adds a level of empathy to the alcohol and drug rehab program that is offered.
Many individuals, who have walked the path of addiction and found recovery, oftentimes turn to the field of addiction treatment. It strengthens them in their own recovery, but allows them to help others find the same. In working the 12-step program, the final step is to take the experiences of recovery and to share them with others. By working in a drug rehab setting, individuals in recovery have a daily chance to share the message of the program with those who stand in need.
