Recovery from addiction is a process. After completing alcohol or drug rehab, an addict or alcoholic can once again be faced with the realities of life and the triggers that can lead to relapse. Proper measures of care are put into place to assist with relapse prevention. At Cirque Lodge, we allow clients to return and receive needed residential care for a short term before a relapse occurs. This is known as the Guesting Privilege. It is available to each and every graduate of the Cirque Lodge drug rehab program and supplies just one more tool for maintaining a long term-sobriety.

The initial months of recovery have many positives as the individual makes progress. However, the situation can also have negatives. Something that commonly occurs in the initial stages of recovery after treatment completed is post-acute withdrawal. Even those successfully working their program and going to meetings can experience some of these symptoms and struggles. The Guesting Privilege allows the former client of the Cirque to return to the surrounding of the mountains and take part in additional programming and treatment when needed, for up to 96 hours. It can be a time of refocus and contemplation.

Guesting at Cirque Lodge is free of charge for any graduates of the program who have remained sober. It is a lifetime privilege. Whether the individual just left a few weeks/months ago, or it is someone who has several years of sobriety under their belt, they can return and get focused again on recovery. As stated at the beginning, recovery from addiction is a process. The Guesting Privilege at Cirque Lodge supplies another avenue of help and support to those who have completed treatment and are continually working at sustaining their recovery.

When an alcoholic or drug addict enters into treatment for their addictions they can be going through quite a rough patch. The initial stages of detox, intervention and giving up a substance of abuse can take its toll. When such individuals come for alcohol treatment or drug rehab at Cirque Lodge, we strive to surround them with comfort, privacy and supportive care to help them in this time of critical need. As one of the finest addiction treatment facilities, the Cirque Lodge focus is on a private and exclusive drug rehab and recovery experience.

Comfort and support for the struggling addict/alcoholic begins with the facilities. The Cirque Lodge and Studio emphasize high end living and a homelike atmosphere of comfort. Coupled into this is gourmet-style dining to supply nutrition and dietary needs through a delicious means. When people come to alcohol treatment or drug rehab they can be coming from very difficult positions. They can have preconceived notions (usually negative) about rehab. The Comfort, atmosphere and care supplied at Cirque Lodge seeks to exceed expectations and dispel any negative notions about recovering from the difficult struggles of substance abuse and addiction.

Privacy is also at the heart of all of this. Resident privacy is maintained in the highest regard at both Cirque Lodge facilities. This of course has to do with professionalism and also the traditions of the 12-step approach to recovery, which the alcohol and drug rehab are founded upon at Cirque. Treatment is personalized and confidential to supply care for the specific needs of clients. Such a private approach is beneficial to high profile individuals in need of alcohol and drug rehab treatment. Private rooms can be requested and are available for anyone seeking the highest levels of a private addiction treatment stay.

None of this comfort and care is possible without the support and efforts of all the staff. The facility is clean, due to the commitment of our housekeeping staff. The food is delicious, because of our chefs and kitchen staff. Most importantly, clients are cared for and supported by the measures of treatment supplied by the clinical and members of resident staff. Those in alcohol treatment and drug rehab have such individuals available to them around-the-clock to help with resident concerns. This caring surround of support and treatment, coupled with the private and exclusive comfort of the facility can supply a foundational beginning for arresting the disease of addiction and starting paths of recovery.

When you are looking for treatment for yourself or a loved one it can be a daunting task. Calling a drug rehab center can be a good way to learn about what is offered by the program. It can greatly benefit you to be a questioning consumer when contacting addiction treatment providers about their services. Treatment programs and providers are prepared to answer your questions regarding alcohol and drug rehab care that they provide. Different services from a treatment provider and also facility can be a great help in determining in what is best. Residential programs can vary and asking questions can help you to better determine where to send your loved one or receive care for yourself.

There are a number of treatments and facilities out there that provide alcohol and drug rehab services. Programs provide different types of treatments depending on the facility and licensure. When calling an alcohol or drug rehab center, it can help to ask basic questions about the treatments that are provided, whether medical services are offered and about personalized care. A number of addiction treatment providers are also dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder treatment facilities. This means care is provided for mental health issues in conjunction with alcohol or drug treatment. This can be a benefit for those struggling with co-occurring disorders or those that could be diagnosed as having such.

It can also help to ask other addiction professionals and services about treatment providers. It can’t hurt to ask around about treatment facilities from other professionals that they work with. The best of providers will have positive recommendations from other professionals. A quality drug rehab program also has proper licensure, some have health care accreditation. These are things that can help you in searching for proper care for you or that person you care about.

At Cirque Lodge, we look forward to your call. A member of our admissions staff will answer any and all of your questions right over the phone and can even offer an assessment. Even if Cirque is not the place for you or your loved one, we are more than happy to point you in the right direction for recovery. Cirque Lodge is health care accredited by the Joint Commission, which holds us to a higher standard of clinical care and services for our clients. To us it is a bench mark to supplying the very best from an alcohol or drug rehab center. If it is time to get proper help for alcoholism or drug abuse, do your due diligence in finding the best program and care for yourself or loved one.

Cirque Lodge incorporates a number of clinical and traditional recovery aspects into the experiential therapies used in our alcohol and drug rehab program. The experiential program plays an integral role in a unique approach to addressing the disease of alcoholism or drug addiction. The Cirque Lodge Studio facility is a massive venue that offers indoor locations for such activities when the weather is not so good. A giant 17,000 sq. foot soundstage is home to a massive ropes, challenge and climbing course for residents. The ropes course, as it is commonly called provides lessons on teamwork, communication, overcoming fears and asking for help.

The ropes course consists of two massive log tripods that extend from the floor to nearly the ceiling of the 50 ft. soundstage. In between these structures are a series of ropes, cables and climbing challenges. The high ropes events also are equipped with a zip-line down to the floor and a giant swing that is attached to the ceiling of the soundstage. Experienced and professional members of the Cirque lodge experiential team work with clients through a number of these climbing events. The ropes course also consists of a bevy of low ropes activities and team oriented challenges that help to facilitate establishing boundaries, trust and communication for the recovery alcoholic/addict.

Such activities provide a challenge and also require the use of cognitive functions that can be affected by years of substance abuse. Experiential activities and the ropes course also show the recovering alcoholic/addict ways they can have fun in the recovery process. To many that is the subtle difference to the Cirque Lodge program. It is intensive and effective for sure, but it also provides a therapeutic, spiritual and fun approach to overcoming addiction. It is such an integral part of the Cirque Lodge program that residents have a chance to participate in experiential activities nearly every day and are in the ropes course a few times each week.

Overcoming the struggles of alcoholism can take a great deal of time, personal sacrifice and efforts. Over the years, the abuse of alcohol can create significant changes to the individual emotionally, psychologically and physically. For such individuals, a long term approach or program can be beneficial and even lifesaving. For many this begins with the efforts of an alcohol rehab program and continues through support programs and the help of sober living arrangements. Finding successful sobriety can be long road, but one that is paved with treatment and support for those who truly wish to end their drinking struggles.

The program of alcohol rehab usually will begin with some sort of detoxification. Alcohol needs to run its course through the body and the individual stabilized before beginning a therapy/recovery program. In dealing with alcoholism you can also be dealing with very negative withdrawal effects when the substance is no longer in the system. The process of detoxification can be a life measure against these withdrawal problems. The length of stay in a detox center can depend on the severity of alcoholism and what it takes to stabilize the individual.

After detoxification, the program should involve the efforts of some sort of treatment or alcohol rehab. There are many types of programming available to treat those struggling with alcoholism. It can be quite advantageous to enroll in a residential type of addiction treatment program for dealing with alcoholism. Residential facilities provide a controlled environment away from the influences of alcohol. Treatment approaches can also vary. Many programs have integrated services into treatment, allowing the alcoholic to take advantage of a number of programs and therapies to arrest their disease. The length of stay in treatment can also depend on the severity of the alcoholism and the progress of the individual. Many alcohol and drug rehab providers offer extended care programs to accommodate long term treatment needs.

When treatment is completed, the alcoholic once again is faced with the influences and problems that led them to drink in the first place. A long term program for alcoholism will continue through outpatient programs, sober living environments and through involvement in self-help type of programs. The predominant self-help group available for the recovering alcoholic is AA, which takes advantage of a 12-step program. Most recovery oriented alcohol rehab providers are founded on the 12-step approach as well. Alcohol treatment facilities and providers usually will offer recommendations on aftercare programs and continuing the efforts of treatment and recovery.

Such recovery can be a long term and life long process and it can seem daunting. However, many alcoholics, each and every day are discovering a means to leaving the bottle and finding paths to recovery and productive living. There are programs and opportunities available to the alcoholic that can help them deal with their struggles. Perhaps it is time to help the loved one struggling with alcoholism is your life.

When a drug addiction client comes to Cirque Lodge, the treatment and recovery experience is tailored to meet their needs. With drug addiction you are dealing with different substances of abuse, also different individuals that can require varying levels of care and rehabilitation to address their concerns. The Cirque Lodge drug rehab program consists of a multidisciplinary approach of treatments and rehabilitative experiences that provide care and recovery on many levels. Such an approach helps to meet the needs of the drug addict seeking recovery.

Exclusive comforts and high end facilities help to meet the needs of the struggling drug addict. No expense has been spared in creating an environment of healing. We understand that clients can have different living needs when they come to treatment and we like to think that all of these areas are covered within a private and exclusive treatment experience. For those seeking the highest levels of privacy during a drug rehab stay, accommodations are available at our Lodge facility. The culinary experience at Cirque Lodge also provides meals that meet special dietary needs when requested.

To determine the needs of the individual from a treatment standpoint, the drug rehab program begins with a professional and thorough assessment. A large battery of tests and assessments are utilized to determine the best course of action for treating the client. Cirque Lodge is a dual diagnosis treatment center, providing recovery services for both co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders within a treatment stay. Assessments and interviews with treatment professionals help to diagnose and prescribe proper treatments and medications for existing mental health and addiction concerns.

The assessment is used to create the treatment plan of action for the client. The client is assigned a member of our treatment team to personally over see this plan and to provide addiction treatment therapies for the individual. Our staff meets together many times a day to discuss the clients and ways to provide rehabilitation and treatment for each client. The treatment plan also changes throughout a stay at Cirque Lodge to continually meet client needs. After a few weeks of treatment, individuals can be at different stages of the recovery process and the treatment plan is continually adjusted to provide the best possible care, support and outcomes for the client according to their areas of need.

Today wraps up another Family program at the Cirque Lodge. At Cirque, we feel that the family plays an integral role in support and recovery from alcohol and drug abuse. Every third week of the alcohol and drug rehab program is dedicated to workshops and programs for families. Residents of the Lodge and Studio are encouraged to involve their loved ones in these programs and activities. This program can also provide loved ones with needed support and help for dealing with the struggles of alcoholism and drug addiction in their home.

Education is a central part to the family program at Cirque Lodge. Family members and loved ones may be unaware of what is going on. Cirque supplies a number of engaging and interactive workshops that help to educate individuals on many aspects of addiction, treatment and the recovery process. As a 12-step alcohol and drug rehab facility, family also learns about this program, and has a lecture on the disease of addiction. Workshops are also offered about how to get support for themselves through Alanon-type programs and measures to apply self-care. It is our hope that these efforts can be applied to the recovery process, not only for their loved one in drug rehab, but for the family they interact with.

Special groups and therapy settings are also provided for families during this program. The communication breakdown can be part of the struggle in the home. Sessions are conducted by a licensed treatment counselor and it gives those involved a chance at open and honest communication as a family. It can be a means to getting to the heart of the concern and resolving problems that may be involved. This can be a bit intensive, but ultimately in the long run quite therapeutic. Family program also gives the loved ones of Cirque Lodge residents an opportunity to take part in some experiential activities and a chance to sample the food that is all a part of the Cirque Lodge experience.

The Cirque Lodge alcohol and drug rehab facilities are nestled in the mountains of Utah. The beautiful and majestic Mount Timpanogos overshadows these treatment facilities for addiction. The Native Americans of this region esteemed this mountain as a sacred place in their culture when this land was first settled. Such a sacred place it can also be for those struggling with alcohol abuse or drug addiction. This quiet and serene mountain environment is used as a place for healing and recovery at the Cirque Lodge. As a part of treatment those in alcohol and drug rehab are immersed in this environment through nature based activities and experiences.

The experiential program at Cirque Lodge creates a number of activities and opportunities in the mountains for clients of the facility. Hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, climbing, bon fires and snow shoeing (when there is snow) are all utilized as a part of the treatment program. These activities are used to teach recovery, self-care, healing and meditation. After a hike, residents can have discussions about recovery or concepts from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. Time can even be given for clients to go and find their own quiet spot for reflection and reconnecting to a higher power.

Stress, trauma and drama are powerful fuels for alcoholism and drug abuse. The Cirque Lodge alcohol and drug rehab facility provides a private place away from these fuels for those who wish to do something about their struggles with drugs or alcohol. The facility is comfortable and offers a caring treatment and staff to assist with the addiction recovery process. The serenity and healing found in these mountains has helped many find a means to long term and lasting sobriety.

When you have a loved one who is struggling with alcoholism or with drug abuse, it can be very difficult on you. Sometimes, when you try to help them it actually can be hurting or enabling them to abuse or use even more. When it is time to get them help you may not know where to turn. However, there are people, organizations and organizations that can help you in different ways. Alcohol and drug rehab is a means to treating the disease of addiction. This post suggests four ways to get your loved one help when they may be struggling with chemical dependency.

1. Talk to a Professional- It can be important to get proper recommendations from a professional on the matter. This can just start with your personal physician. Community programs also provide drug counselors and measures of help. You can even contact an alcohol or drug rehab provider for help if needed.

2. Receive an Assessment – Many addiction treatment services and providers offer assessments and even referrals to proper programs or facilities. In many cases such assessments are free of charge. A professional assessment can help to determine a course of action for the individual and where they stand on needing treatment, counseling or drug rehab programs.

3. Plan an Intervention – In some cases, the only way to get a loved one help is to provide an intervention for them. Intervention requires planning and can have many factors involved in helping out a loved one. There are a number of intervention professionals that can help you. Community programs can also offer intervention services in some areas. Statistics show that intervention is a very effective means to getting a loved one into an addiction treatment program.

4. Get Help for Yourself – Another effective means for helping your loved one is proper care for yourself. There are community and self-help programs available to the loved ones of alcoholics and addicts. A program like Alanon or CoDA can help you with your relationship with loved ones with addiction. It also provides an important education on the nature of addiction and establishing proper boundaries. Such can be a means to motivating a loved one into a proper treatment if needed.
