At Cirque Lodge drug rehab does not end with leaving the addiction treatment facility. A recovering addict is not readily "cured" by a residential stay. At Cirque Lodge, we help this problem by offering aftercare to the graduates of our drug rehab program. Aftercare looks out for our clients during the initial months of recovery. This is the most critical stage of the recovery process. Continued support in recovery makes overcoming the addiction, without relapse, all the easier. A client who is committed to working the steps of the 12-step program and involving themselves in support programs has the greatest chance at a lasting and successful recovery.

Our aftercare specialist is committed to finding the appropriate programs for graduates of Cirque Lodge. These programs are primarily close to client's place of residence and are functioning and active support networks for recovery. Aftercare also consists of enrollment into our Cirque Lodge alumni program. We are always looking for ways to involve our alumni in activities to help them continually grow. The Cirque Lodge website has an alumni forum to allow alumni to stay in touch and discuss recovery.

Continuing Support after Cirque Lodge

In almost all communities you will find fully functioning support group for 12-step programs. Aftercare continues treatment by finding our drug rehab graduates the appropriate measure of a support program. A recovering cocaine addict would not be as comfortable in an Alcoholics Anonymous setting as they would attend Cocaine Anonymous. We are dedicated to finding the right program to continue the step work of the 12-step model.

This prepares them to be comfortable with an addiction sponsor after rehab has completed. This supplies the individual in recovery with one-on-one support from someone who can help them through the initial stages of recovery.
