Drug Rehab Alumni

When our drug rehab clients graduate the Cirque Lodge program, they continue outpatient and support groups as a part of aftercare. Aftercare is also responsible for Cirque Lodge alumni programs. The drug rehab program at Cirque Lodge, Sundance Utah, strives to be a life changing experience. We want our clients time spent in treatment to be one they can reflect on for the rest of their lives. That is why we involve the alumni in our drug rehab program.

Support in recovery is essential. We strive to offer opportunities for our alumni to find support. Cirque Lodge facilitates many of the local 12-step support group meetings at the Studio facility. We also are looking for opportunities to involve our alumni in various activities throughout the year. It is good to enjoy activities and charitable functions to involve alumni. It is good for support and to reflect on the time spent at the Cirque Lodge addiction treatment facility.

The Alumni Reunion

The alumni reunion at Cirque Lodge is one of the unique opportunities for our alumni. It is quite an event and allows us to grow in support from one another. The alumni reunion is held in annually one weekend in September, the perfect time when the leaves are changing color. The former clients of Cirque Lodge can return and remember the experience of the addiction treatment facility. A number of activities are planned during the reunion. It is an ideal opportunity to rekindle the flame of what was developed while in addiction treatment.

The drug rehab alumni of Cirque Lodge can once enjoy the healing of nature. The Cirque Lodge alumni reunion offers nature activities that weekend to help rebuild the experiences of healing in nature. There is also the chance to once again partake of the delicious food that is prepared by our chefs. It is a chance to reunite with fellow alumni and staff of the Cirque Lodge program. It is a powerful experience to strengthen your sobriety. The activities are carefully planned and wonderfully performed. The reunion culminates in a powerful support meeting fireside. It takes place in the mountains around a warming bonfire surrounded by nature.

The success of the Cirque Lodge has led to an increasing alumni reunion. Every year we are amazed at the increased size of the alumni who return. We are flattered by the individuals we have helped find sobriety and their dedication to us as a program. It is also amazing to see some of the original clients return every year and see how far we have progressed as an addiction treatment facility. For our alumni, the annual reunion is wonderful opportunity and one of the advantages to recovery from Cirque Lodge.

Guesting Privilege

Recovery from alcohol or drug addiction can take some time. The initial weeks and months of recovery can be the toughest. At Cirque Lodge, our drug and alcohol rehab alumni are given a lifetime guesting privilege. This is to help them "recharge their recovery batteries" so to speak. It can be hard with the influences out there to maintain sobriety when so freshly out of addiction treatment. The guesting privilege at Cirque Lodge allows the graduate of our drug rehab a chance to return and experience the safety of our addiction treatment facility.

Guesting privileges allow for up to a 72-hour stay at the facility. It is a chance to rekindle the flame of the Cirque Lodge experience. Remembering the experiences that were enjoyed here at the Cirque Lodge addiction treatment facility can refocus the efforts of sobriety. This is a lifetime opportunity provided for graduates of our facility. The only stipulation is that a relapse has not occurred. It is only available for those who are continually working on their sobriety.

The drug rehab alumni also have the opportunity to return and be a part of our family program at anytime. It is a chance to enjoy lectures and activities to help refocus efforts on sobriety. For some it is just this chance to return for a day that can make all the difference in overcoming addiction or using again. The family program is quite effective for families as well as our drug rehab alumni.
