The experiential program is no different. It is continually changing to provide a unique experience in the drug rehab program. The experiential program is designed to provide a therapeutic learning environment. The way we keep these activities exciting for those who may need treatment for a longer duration of time is by changing them continually. This creates new and exciting opportunities to learn aspects of life that can aide in overcoming addiction. With addiction treatment and a new and fresh experiential program, overcoming substance abuse and addiction is possible.

An Organic Garden At The Studio

One area of our experiential program is our organic garden. Our clients are granted the opportunity to work and raise their own organic vegetables. Working in a garden following addiction therapy can be relaxing to a troubled mind. This large and beautiful garden grants an environment to learn and grow with the plants. The residents are then allowed to enjoy creating meals and dishes with the vegetables they have grown.

The organic garden and adjoining rose garden are an ideal place for meditation. The clients can use this time to reflect on the drug rehab program. Learning to grow things can help the recovery process by learning and growing. There are lessons to be learned from the experience in gardening that can greatly ease the burden of a troubled mind. The addiction treatment facility provides its residents with this therapeutic place to reflect on overcoming alcohol or drug addiction.

The Art Room

The Cirque Lodge Studio also has a fully equipped art room. Art projects as a part of the experiential program allows the clients to be expressive in their feelings. The art room is equipped with pottery wheels and we even have a kiln to bake the pots that are created. Learning to express oneself in ways other than talking can be therapeutic and even ease the burden of overcoming addiction. The addiction treatment facility provides opportunities to learn and grow through these art projects.

As therapy is balanced with this type of expressive aspect, the recovering addict or alcoholic has an avenue for expressing themselves. It also provides a nice activity to balance out the day. After a difficult session of therapy or a trying counseling session, it can be therapeutic to work with clay and create something from yourself. The art room is just one way we allow our residents to express themselves as they discover recovery from the drug rehab program.
