We want them to feel safe and a part of the program. We offer them relaxation amenities to help them unwind after a day of rigorous addiction treatment.

Alcohol and drug addiction is difficult to overcome on ones own. Withdrawal from alcohol or drug addiction can be very stressful. A common withdrawal symptom of alcohol and drug addiction is anxiety and restlessness. The easy way to treat anxiety is to make the environment one that is not as stressful. We do this with a caring staff and comfortable amenities. The clients of our addiction treatment facility can feel at home in these surroundings, reducing the stress caused by drug withdrawal. A lot of these problems are psychological. In the warmer months, the grounds of the drug rehab facility offer a comfortable outdoor environment for reading and meditation. Downtime can also be spent playing games in our game room. This is helpful in building friendships and support between clients. The purpose is to unwind. Addiction treatment is stressful it means ending old habits and changing life basically. Both facilities have Jacuzzis for male and female residents. A session in the spa can be extremely relaxing and therapeutic. Our clients also can enjoy sessions of massage therapy from our professional massage therapists. The purpose is to reduce the stress of overcoming addiction. The Studio at Cirque Lodge also has a full salon for residents personal grooming while in treatment. This may seem superficial, but it accentuates the level of care and the great lengths we go to make our facility a special experience.

The Therapy of Saunas

The drug rehab facilities at Cirque Lodge also provide male and female residents with custom made cedar saunas. Saunas have been used for centuries to provide a therapeutic experience. A sauna session increases blood flow; it allows the body to sweat out harmful toxins. As little as a twenty minute session in a sauna can have a very therapeutic and healthy result. Our clients can enjoy the healing effects of the sauna during downtime in our addiction treatment facility.

Saunas also promote relaxation. A sauna session can reduce the stress of addiction withdrawal. At times, when our residents are having difficulty sleeping, we prescribe a Jacuzzi and sauna session. This can provide the needed relaxation for sleeping. The sauna session is just one of the many aspects of relaxation amenities we provide the residents or our drug rehab program.
