Finding Support in Drug Rehab

The addiction treatment program at Cirque Lodge is completely surrounded by aspects of support for its clients. This even will file down to finding support in accommodations. Cirque Lodge offers shared rooms as a part of a residential program. Studies have shown that a shared environment greatly assists in the recovery process found in a drug rehab program. The client's roommates function as a natural builder of support. The client and roommate are building towards recovery. Finding support when not in a therapy session from a roommate can be more meaningful than the therapy itself to some.

Cirque Lodge also offers a community environment as an aspect to our addiction treatment program. Many of our programs are group based. This is for building support. It is easy to build toward recovery when you are surrounded by your peers also striving for this common cause. The drug rehab program offers a number of support group opportunities throughout each day. This prepares the addict to feel comfortable in this type of support and recovery program. Many times in recovery it is these types of support programs that lead to overcoming the addiction. Beginning this type of support in a drug rehab program is essential.

Many of these activities are group based. The group is presented with a challenge. The power of the group is what helps them overcome this challenge. These activities provide excitement and learning, as well as support from the group. The experiential program is an innovative and unique aspect to the drug rehab experience. Our clients learn to enjoy life and solve many of the life's problems through simple activity. They also develop a structure of support from accomplishing these activities.

One area that sets apart the Cirque Lodge addiction treatment program is their dedication to the family in treatment. The family program at Cirque Lodge is designed to help the family through the addiction and recovery process. A large part of this program is to help the family build proper means of support. Many times, the family is the most important support structure after drug rehab is completed. The family program helps the family of the addict or alcoholic learn proper aspects of support. This support is invaluable for the recovery process. It helps to build a much closer bond in the family structure.

When our clients leave the addiction treatment program, they are not left alone. We provide for them continued outpatient support programs in their local areas. These programs are essential to building support after drug rehab. The initial months of the drug rehab program are the most critical. When the recovering addict or alcohol has means of support to help them through this critical stage it makes recovery all the easier.
