Our focus is to meet specific needs of each individual who comes to us for effective cognitive behavioral therapy, mood disorders, dual diagnosis and addiction treatment.

Not every set style of drug treatment works and there is no "magic" drug rehab program out there that has the cure to end addiction. It takes a number of programs, and a number of treatment types to produce successful results. It also takes commitment from the individual. If a person is willing to accept the program at Cirque Lodge our drug treatment plan can grant them their chance at recovery.

Individualized Drug Treatment Plan

At Cirque Lodge we have a focus on individualized treatment. Many programs just have an overall program and only treat groups of individuals. There is an advantage to an individualized approach. In a drug treatment program, a personalized approach is far much more effective. This allows us to help resolve specific problems with each individual that may be the issue fueling the addiction. Our residents feel a different level of care knowing that we are actively involved with each individual specifically.

At Cirque Lodge we provide each one of our residents their very own addiction treatment counselor. This counselor works with the resident in a personal setting to ensure that the drug treatment plan in place is achieving successful results. An individual counselor can also help address any concerns or problems that may arise while receiving treatment. These individualized counseling sessions are a distinct advantage to drug treatment at Cirque Lodge.

With an individualized drug treatment plan, addiction rehab moves at the pace of the individual. During this fragile time of the mind, it is less effective to add more stress and difficulty to an already critical situation. The drug treatment plan at Cirque Lodge progresses in accordance to the progress of the resident receiving the treatment. In this way the individuals with more severe cases of addiction can be assured that they are being monitored and treated accordingly at the pace they are comfortable with.

Therapy in our Drug Treatment Plan

At Cirque Lodge we utilize many of the most effective modern and traditional therapies in our drug treatment plan. We have a number of certified professionals in the field of addiction treatment that can address specific and resolve underlying issues of trauma that may be fuel to the addiction. Psychotherapy is something we utilize at Cirque Lodge to help our resident come to terms with these underlying significant problems.

We are also a dual diagnosis program here at Cirque Lodge. Mood disorders such as depression and anxiety as well as other mood disorders can have a heavy hand in addictive practices. At Cirque Lodge we want to effectively diagnose these mood disorders to stabilize the brain, and provide proper addiction treatment once these disorders are diagnosed and treated. This helps us effectively treat all individuals no matter their mental condition with our drug treatment plan.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a recent advancement in drug treatment. At Cirque Lodge, we utilize the cognitive behavioral therapy method to help introduce coping strategies to our residents. An addictive mind develops an automatic impulse when it comes to feeding the addiction. The thought process and behavioral process becomes compulsive. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a way to teach the residents of Cirque Lodge how to change those impulses and behavioral patterns and is quite effective in its approach.

All aspects of the drug treatment plan at Cirque Lodge are founded in the traditional 12-step model created by Alcoholics Anonymous. This program is an effective lasting program that can be utilized after addiction treatment from our facility. Initial step work from the 12-step program is provided here at Cirque Lodge as our residents develop the coping skills needed to maintain sober living. Continued step work occurs after drug rehab with the involvement of our relapse prevention program. When effectively used, the 12-step model of addiction management can be a life changing program.

The advantage to alcohol treatment and drug treatment at Cirque Lodge is not in the array of therapy that we provide. It is not in our use of experiential activities and unique mountain location. It comes from our dedicated staff. The majority of the treatment professionals at Cirque Lodge view our drug treatment plan as more than just a job. They view and treat it as a way of life.
