Some residents are struggling with far more than addiction. Individuals suffering from drug and alcohol addiction can also be struggling with other forms of psychiatric disorder. Cirque Lodge is a dual diagnosis facility. Those suffering from addiction are also treated for mood disorders or eating disorders. Such elements of treatment and therapy are also implemented into the personalized treatment plan of each resident. Each week, residents meet with our staff psychiatric professional to help them with their dual diagnosis conditions. The purpose is to help individuals to learn how to cope and recover from both parts of co-occurring problems.

Foundation for the Recovery Process

When alcohol and drug rehab is completed, Cirque Lodge alumni are provided elements to help them as they begin their recovery process.

Every resident is prescribed a Continuing Care Plan when they prepare to leave the facility. Aftercare and primary counselors work with residents in preparing a Continuing Care Plan to assist them through the recovery process. There are many elements of additional treatment, therapy and support for those in recovery. The Continuing Care Plan consists of these elements and is based on the resident's needs. The foundation of this plan is to continue the 12-step process by continuing with a fellowship, attending meetings, and working with a sponsor. Cirque Alumni are not left alone when they leave our exclusive drug treatment facility. We are continually working on new programs and ways to help alumni when they are discharged. Former residents can return to the facility and guest with us when they need it. (This is only available to residents who have not relapsed and is based on room availability). Each week, local Cirque Lodge alumni can come to the Studio facility for aftercare support meetings. We even have alumni gatherings throughout the country to help Alumni stay in touch with the facility and each other.
