The 12-Step Process to Drug Rehab

The 12-step philosophy to both alcohol and drug rehab programs is not new. It is a successful treatment type and is one that we use here at Cirque Lodge. An important element to this process is the need for the individual to get in touch with a higher power. Our drug rehab facility provides the experiences needed for our residents to get in touch with that higher power. This process can be a key to an effective road to recovery.

Another style of treatment we offer is both indoor and outdoor experiential therapy unmatched by any other program. Our experiential therapy provides activities that can aide in alcohol and drug rehab. Many of our experiential programs involve being out in nature. An important part of the treatment program at Cirque Lodge is family week. Family members are invited to come for four days every third week into our treatment cycle. We offer group classes for families and our residents to attend together. We want to provide drug rehab counseling and educate family members on the serious nature of substance abuse and give them an insight on our treatment programs, at our drug rehab facility. Family members can also experience parts of our experiential therapy. In many cases family support can be essential to finding a higher power and having a successful drug rehab experience.
