Cirque Lodge is known for its outdoor experiential therapy. These outdoor elements are integrated into the clinical programming of drug rehab and alcohol treatment at the Studio.
Balance of Drug Rehab Therapy
An effective 12-step program is anchored with quality counseling. The alcohol and drug rehab program at the Studio at Cirque Lodge uses this Alcoholics Anonymous modality along with private and group therapy sessions and experiential therapy. There are a number of larger and smaller group rooms and individual therapy rooms that are used to educate and rehabilitate those struggling with their addictions.
These rooms are also used during Family Week where family members and other loved ones can learn about alcoholism and substance abuse. This exclusive program allows the family to experience part of the addiction treatment process. It shows them ways to help better understand and support their loved one on their life journey to recovery. It provides family members also with healing for their struggles with a loved one's substance abuse.
Experiential Therapies
The drug rehab program at Cirque Lodge is developed around the successful 12-step model developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. Experiential therapy is added into this effort. By combining these two main elements we have seen great results for our residents. Typical addiction treatment group therapy sessions are usually conducted within the four walls of the treatment center. Many of our sessions are conducted out in nature.
Being in nature helps provide the vital spiritual experience needed to achieve successful recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. We allow the residents of the Studio to get out into nature and feel the healing effects that it offers. It also provides exercise. We feel that by letting our residents experience things they never have before will help them replace their addictions with these experiences. Our natural surrounding can teach each resident the importance of enjoying life.
Large Group Rooms for Family Week
Multiple large groups rooms at the Cirque Lodge addiction treatment center help facilitate the group therapy sessions for our residents. These rooms are also used during our Family Week, which is held every third week. During Family Week, family members, friends and associates come to participate in many of the drug rehab program elements. This helps them to better understand the disease of addiction and how to help their loved ones who are suffering from alcoholism or other drug addictions.
Family and group programs help in building support for the recovery process. Alcoholism and drug addiction can be very isolating. One thing the recovering alcoholic/addict must always understand is that they are never alone in their struggles. Groups rooms are used in building this support as residents function as a community focused on recovery.
Individual Counseling
One-on-one counseling sessions are a part of the overall treatment. The Studio at Cirque Lodge houses a number of individual counseling offices used to provide one-on-one care with residents. In these offices, licensed drug treatment counselors help our residents understand the disease of addiction and focus on the specific needs of each individual.
Many of our counselors are in recovery from alcoholism or other drug addictions themselves. Their dedication is to help you or your loved one achieve successful recovery. Individuals can be struggling with different problems. These problems can be part of the struggle with drugs or alcoholism. Counseling and therapy can be a means for dealing with trauma, grief and unresolved concerns that lead to self-medication. We believe Cirque Lodge represents your best hope for a new life free of alcohol and drugs.
