Your journey does not end when you leave our center, and neither does our support.
Cirque Lodge is a recovery-orientated rehab center. We give you the tools you need to overcome addiction and live a life free from drug or alcohol abuse.
Our continuing care program offers an individualized aftercare plan to guide you to lifelong recovery. We connect you with local and online process groups to provide you with ongoing support.
Through our alumni program, you can stay in touch with our community and return to our treatment facilities if you need to, to re-energize and recommit to sobriety.
“The level of aftercare provided by Cirque Lodge is second to none. I returned, as a bird returns to the nest, four times in my first year to re-energize, re-fuel, and re-commit as a part of my continued sobriety. There is no charge for aftercare, and there is no end to it.”
As part of your inpatient treatment program, you work with a personal therapist who helps design your treatment plan and will continually evaluate and adapt as you move through the treatment process.
Our therapists are Master’s level professionals with expert knowledge of substance use disorders and effective treatment methods. They develop a comprehensive understanding of your addiction, your life circumstances, and how you respond to different treatment approaches.
At the end of your treatment, they draw on their extensive knowledge to design an individualized long-term aftercare plan. We have professional relationships with many outpatient programs, private therapists, sober houses, and intervention services. We draw on these resources to design the most effective program for you.
The 12-Step method is the foundation of our treatment program.
The 12-steps are a well-established program for spiritual development, overcoming addiction, and maintaining abstinence.
The 12-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous was developed over 100 years ago and now boasts a community of over 2 million people. This involves both online and local support groups. At the end of your stay, we encourage you to connect with 12-step groups in your area or online, so you can attend regular meetings and create a strong support network.
After you complete inpatient treatment, we usually recommend that you attend 90 meetings in 90 days. The initial transition to everyday life is often the most difficult part of the recovery process, and continual support and guidance are fundamental in these early stages.
By attending local 12-step meetings, you become involved in the community and develop strong friendships and gain the mutual support of others in recovery. Once you have laid these foundations, you will not need to attend meetings every day. You may attend weekly meetings to share your experiences to help others or become a sponsor to help someone new to the community.
12-step meetings may be held by:
You can join the communities that best suit your circumstances and the nature of your substance abuse and addiction. Other communities like Al-Anon and Nar-Anon work on similar principles but focus on family or adolescents.
After you have left our center, there may be times when you want to re-energize, refocus and recommit to the recovery process.
This may happen in response to particular challenges because you are worried about a relapse or simply because you feel the need for an extra boost.
As a Cirque Lodge alumni, you can return to our center free of charge for three to four days to refocus your efforts on recovery. Our guesting privilege drug rehab program is one of the best methods of relapse prevention.
It helps you strengthen your coping skills, reconnect with your inner self, and boost your motivation to continue. You will also be a shining example of successful recovery. Sometimes, life can be incredibly difficult, and we need to reach out for help. Your experience and humility will inspire other clients, who will see your strength in admitting you need assistance.
The Guesting Privilege is subject to room availability and is open to those who have maintained sobriety since the end of their stay. It offers a safe and caring environment where you can ‘reset’ before going back to your everyday life.
If you are worried about a relapse or would like some extra support, please contact us at Cirque Lodge. One of our compassionate representatives can discuss your options and guide you through the next steps.
Addiction is a chronic illness that causes long-lasting changes in the brain. This means that for some people, relapse is a part of the recovery process.
If you have returned to drug and alcohol use, you have not fallen back to square one. It is not a failure, and with the proper support, you can return to a life of sobriety.
Cirque Lodge addiction center offers a relapse track program to help you overcome relapse and continue your recovery journey. Relapse track is a two-week recovery program of behavioral therapies, experiential therapies, and support groups. It focuses on learning from the causes of your relapse and strengthening your continuing care plan for the future.
As a Cirque Lodge alumni, you will often work with the same personal counselor who guided you through treatment. They can use their insight into your addiction and recovery experience to offer the most effective support moving forward.
The transition from inpatient treatment to everyday life can be the most challenging part of the recovery process. Our mentor program offers you a temporary guide or ‘mentor’ to make the transition as smooth as possible.
A mentor is usually a Cirque Lodge alumni who can offer support in finding local meetings, joining support networks, and readjusting to everyday life. They may provide support over the phone or accompany you to your first meetings. If possible, we connect you with a mentor from your local area who already has in-depth knowledge of the resources and tools available to you.
A mentor can be an invaluable source of support in the first few months after addiction treatment. It is an outstanding feature of our exceptional aftercare program.
Staying connected to the place you became sober can be a powerful motivational tool. The community also offers an invaluable source of support.
Our alumni program includes Inner Child workshops, lecture series, 12-step meetings, networking functions, and alumni dinners and meetings. These events usually take place near our treatment center, but there are also aftercare services and meetings available in southern California.
We have developed a community app for our clients who live further away where you can stay in touch with those you met at Cirque Lodge and find support when you need it. We regularly contact you by phone to offer advice and guidance as you readjust to everyday life. Many of our alumni arrange support group activities and gatherings in the communities where they live, so you can stay connected to our community wherever you may be.
