The National Institute on Drug Abuse advises that effective addiction treatment treats the entire person and is individualized to each person’s needs.
At Cirque Lodge addiction center, we offer a holistic treatment experience that combines various treatment approaches adapted to suit your specific requirements. We help you grow as a person, explore your inner self, and reconnect with your body, mind, and soul. Rehabilitation is the start of a new life, free from alcohol and addiction.
Our evidence-based treatment options include:
Cognitive-behavioral Therapy
Cognitive-behavioral Therapy (CBT) involves identifying the thought patterns, feelings, and behaviors that cause you to use a substance and developing skills to overcome them.
Alcoholism is a disease caused partly by changes in the brain. Heavy drinking causes your brain to associate specific cues in your environment with alcohol. When you see or experience these cues, it triggers strong urges to drink. You may also drink to escape from stressful or difficult situations.
During CBT sessions, you work with a therapist to identify the triggers and situations that underlie your addiction. You then develop strategies to avoid these triggers or deal with stresses in healthy ways.
Research shows CBT to be effective in treating alcoholism. National Institute of Drug Abuse research has found that skills learned through cognitive-behavioral therapies stay with you long after the end of your rehab program.
At Cirque Lodge, we hold therapy sessions inside our world-class facilities and outside in breathtaking natural surroundings. Your CBT session could be in a sun-filled meadow or beside a mountain stream. The healing powers of nature work in harmony with our treatment approach to provide a profound therapeutic experience.
Dual Diagnosis
Almost half of the people struggling with alcoholism or substance use disorder have an underlying mental health condition. Co-occurring mental disorders may have developed due to alcoholism or could have been present before they began. They can be the driving force behind an addiction, causing users to turn to alcohol to escape.
Our dual diagnosis program identifies and treats co-occurring disorders alongside addiction. Treating co-occurring disorders lays the foundations for long-term recovery and prevents the same conditions from triggering addiction in the future. It is part of a holistic healing experience that guides you to a full and happy sober life.
Family Therapy
Cirque Lodge is a family-owned, family-based rehab center. We understand the effect alcoholism has on your loved ones and dedicate our program to supporting and healing the entire family.
We involve the family throughout the entire treatment process, from pre-admission to the aftercare plan. Immediate family can attend our center during Family Week to participate in family therapy. We provide a variety of sessions to help you better understand how addiction affects the family and how you can support each other throughout the recovery journey.
Cirque-Lodge offers a recovery-orientated program that guides you to lifelong recovery. Our family is often our strongest and most valuable source of support. Healing family relationships and establishing healthy mutual support networks are fundamental to maintaining abstinence once you leave our center.
Continuing Care
Your recovery does not end when you leave our treatment center, and neither does our care. We offer an unparalleled aftercare program that helps you settle back into society and provides long-term support in the years ahead.
When you leave Cirque Lodge, we provide you with an individualized aftercare plan connecting you with local support groups in your area. We partner you with a mentor to guide you through the transition period and offer advice and resources for your recovery.
As an alumnus, you remain a lifelong member of the Cirque Lodge community. We invite you back to the center for events, retreats, and reunions so you can stay in touch with the place you found sobriety. Our guesting privilege program offers the opportunity to return to our center free of charge for a short treatment program to re-energize, re-motivate, and re-commit to a sober life.
