At Cirque Lodge, we provide a vibrant, full, and structured treatment program as part of our world-class rehabilitation experience.
The weekly schedule template below is an example of what you can expect in a week at Cirque Lodge addiction rehab center.
While our schedule changes every week, there are certain core elements that we always include in our program. Weekly scheduling includes individual therapy, group therapy, experiential sessions, 12-step activities, and other treatment options.
At Cirque Lodge, our treatment plans are individualized to suit your personal needs. We schedule individual therapy sessions into the following program, depending on the nature and circumstances of your addiction and mental health. We do not provide a ‘cut-and-paste’ treatment plan – every program is bespoke.
We strive to provide the most enriching rehab experience possible. On top of our weekly sessions, we arrange special events, guest lecturers, and family programs. These offer unique opportunities for personal development, learning, and holistic healing.

“The feeling of having shared in a common peril is one element in the powerful cement which binds us.”
― Alcoholics Anonymous.
The 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous underpins our entire treatment program. The 12-step method is a world-renowned set of guiding principles for recovering from drug and alcohol addiction and maintaining abstinence.
The 12-steps focus on spiritual development and the power of learning from shared experience. You explore the 12-steps as part of a support group with other substance users. Support groups help you learn from each other, develop skills for honest communication, and find strength and acceptance in shared experiences.
At Cirque Lodge, we explore the 12-steps throughout our other sessions, including process groups and experiential activities. They provide a foundation for healing and long-term change.
Process groups are a kind of group therapy where you connect with other people in recovery. They involve discussing your behaviors and thought processes with others and discussing the challenges you may face during recovery. Professional therapists facilitate discussion and guide you through the session.
Process groups are a chance to improve your communication skills, gain feedback from others, and increase your self-awareness. They help you learn interpersonal skills so you can develop healthy relationships and support networks. They are an essential tool in the recovery process.
In experiential therapy, you reinforce the skills you have learned in other sessions through exciting practical activities.
Experiential therapy offers a different kind of learning that appeals to another part of our brain, providing a holistic treatment experience. It is an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone in a safe environment and rediscover your strengths and abilities.
Most experiential activities take place in a group, helping you to develop team-building and communication skills. Many clients form strong friendships as they take part in memorable experiences together.
Experiential activities also offer a break from more intense therapy sessions. We strategically design our weekly schedules so that experiential therapy gives you space to relax and process other sessions.
At Cirque Lodge, we offer a fantastic range of enriching experiences, including:
Experiential therapy at Cirque Lodge offers once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that you will never forget.
Addiction treatment takes focus and energy. It involves dealing with complicated issues and overcoming many challenges. At the same time, your body may be recovering from the physical effects of substance abuse and addiction.
It is important that you take the time to rest, as being stressed or tired makes it difficult to engage in treatment.
Cirque Lodge is the perfect place to relax and recharge. The surrounding mountains offer peace and tranquility at all times of the day and night. Among other things, you can go for a walk, read a book in a mountain meadow, or meditate in one of our gardens.
If you prefer to be inside, you can unwind in luxury. Our rooms contain writing desks and reading areas and are light and spacious, with breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery, giving you the space to relax and reflect.
We have a wide range of facilities to enjoy in your free time, including:
Developing healthy daily routines and structure is an integral part of long-term recovery from addiction.
Your recovery journey does not end when you leave our center. Maintaining abstinence is a lifelong task that requires sustained effort. In the years to come, you may face challenges and difficult moments where you experience the urge to use drugs or alcohol.
When you return home, it is important to live in a way that equips you to deal with these challenges. You must care for yourself and organize your life to remain as strong and committed as possible.
Routines and structures are a vital tool to support this. Having a productive but manageable daily routine helps you feel engaged in and satisfied with your life. It avoids long periods of free time where you could potentially fall into negative thought patterns.
Daily and weekly planning also make it easier to maintain certain habits, like eating well, exercising regularly, and other forms of self-care. It helps you continue to attend regular support group meetings and engage in other recovery techniques fundamental to lifelong recovery.
At Cirque Lodge, our structured weekly program helps you to develop routines that you can apply to your life when you return home. It lays the foundations for a successful recovery journey.
