“The most valuable asset we have at Cirque Lodge are the people” – Dave Beck, Experiential Director
At Cirque Lodge, we take pride in the level of clinical care we provide for clients. Your recovery is our utmost priority, so we aim to pride the best treatment program available to you. At Cirque Lodge, we can provide:
24/7 Medically Assisted Detox
Detoxification is a crucial early stage of recovery. At Cirque Lodge, we oversee your detox program with 24/7 supervision and monitoring. Our expert medical staff can deliver FDA-approved medications. These assist your mind and body as you move through withdrawal and get ready for rehabilitation.
Personalized Treatment Programs
We understand that addiction affects each client on a personal level. We tailor our treatment programs to suit your specific needs. Our team considers any underlying or co-occurring mental and physical health conditions to ensure your comfort and safety in treatment.
Comprehensive Psychological, Neuropsychological, and Cognitive Testing and Assessments
We use comprehensive psychological testing and assessments here at Cirque Lodge. The tests and assessments paint a clear picture of your condition and current health status. All tests and assessments are evidence-based and provide our team with the information necessary to oversee your treatment and recovery with expert care.
Evidence-based Treatment Modalities
At Cirque Lodge, our team of addiction and mental health experts can deliver evidence-based treatment modalities to help you overcome your addiction. Each modality offers unique benefits. They will help you address the issues that caused your addiction and hinder your recovery if left unresolved.
Through our comprehensive psychological testing, we can detect the presence of any co-occurring disorder that would need specialized treatment.
Holistic and Experiential Therapies, with Peer Support
Holistic and experiential therapies complement traditional treatment approaches. They move away from the conventional talk therapy setting and engage clients in activities that strengthen the mind-body connection.
Through physical activity and free expression in real-time, clients can reap many benefits from experiential therapies. They are holistic, which means they incorporate all aspects of the client in therapy, not only their presenting symptoms.
At Cirque Lodge, we are lucky to have the beautiful Utah rocky mountains on our doorstep. We take advantage of our stunning surroundings through team activities such as hiking, climbing, rafting, and cycling. These are all experiential therapies. They help you overcome your addiction by:
- Engaging you in the present
- Fostering a connection with yourself and other members of your group
- Re-connecting you with nature
Individual Therapy Sessions
Individual therapy, or ‘one-to-one’ therapy, gives clients in recovery a chance to build a compassionate and attuned relationship with a professional therapist.
In therapy, we support clients with compassion and non-judgment. Clients confidentially explore their feelings, thoughts, and deeply held beliefs in safety.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach to psychotherapy. In CBT, can explore your thoughts, beliefs, and feelings and understand how they influence your behavior. Psychiatric Clinics of North America reports that CBT is one of the most effective forms of treatment for SUD.
Group and Family Therapy Sessions
You do not need to tackle addiction alone. At Cirque Lodge, we emphasize the importance of group and family support. In our group therapy session, clients can share stories and experiences with others who understand.
In family-based therapy, appropriate family members get involved in treatment. Addiction is often a family disease. The family dynamics and circumstances we grew up in have a significant influence on our mental and behavioral health.
We bring appropriate family members into therapy when possible. This helps the entire family heal from the destruction caused by addiction.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) explains that the goal of family therapy is ‘to meet the needs of all family members.’ Addiction can jeopardize the entire family’s health, so treatment must address how the client’s addiction affects other family members.
Psychoeducation
Knowledge is power. It is essential to understand how addiction happens and how treatment works. We hold psychoeducation (PE) sessions and group discussions to help clients understand the nature of addiction.
The journal Progress in Brain Research explains that PE is ‘an important component of treatment in both medical and psychiatric disorders, especially for mental health disorders associated with lack of insight, such as alcohol and substance use disorders (ASUDs).’
Transformative Intensive Healing Workshops
Our intensive workshops are available to clients staying in rehab for longer than 30 days. These workshops involve intensive exploration of issues that can affect your recovery, such as grief and loss, trauma, or your well-being in relationships.
Our workshops last 1 to 5 days. They have helped many clients build the skills necessary to succeed in life outside of treatment.
Relapse Prevention Planning
Addiction recovery support does not stop once rehab is complete. Addiction recovery is a life-long goal that we must support and maintain daily. At Cirque Lodge, we help clients plan for life after rehab. We arrange appropriate support services to increase the likelihood of successful, long-lasting recovery.
