Personalized Cocaine Addiction Treatment in Utah

Cirque Lodge provides personalized cocaine addiction treatment for people whose cocaine use has affected their health, relationships, emotional stability, daily structure, or sense of control.

Each person enters treatment with a different history, so care begins with an individualized clinical assessment. The assessment reviews patterns of cocaine use, withdrawal risk, mental health needs, trauma history, family dynamics, and recovery goals.

The goal is to treat the person, not only the cocaine use, with care that reflects their clinical needs, life circumstances, and readiness for recovery.

Our Facilities: The Lodge and The Studio

At Cirque Lodge, residential treatment takes place across two private facilities in Utah’s Rocky Mountains: The Lodge and The Studio. Each facility has a treatment role, with dedicated spaces for residential care, detox support, therapy, meals, rest, and experiential work.

1-main-hero

The Lodge

The Lodge is a private luxury mountain retreat at the base of Mount Timpanogos. It combines comfort with authenticity and elegance.

The Lodge accommodates 16 residents, while The Lookout facility next to the Lodge accommodates an additional 3 residents. The smaller resident count creates a more exclusive and intimate setting than The Studio.

Each room provides personal heating and a private bath with slate tile and a jetted tub. The Lodge also features stone and timber interiors, meticulously appointed rooms, a log spiral staircase, and the Cirque Meditation Room.

Large windows throughout The Lodge open onto views of the surrounding mountains, Cascade Cirque, glacier-fed waterfalls, year-round snowfields, and Sundance Ski Resort. Deer, elk, and moose often wander the property.

The Studio

The Studio is located at the gateway to Provo Canyon Located at the gateway to Provo Canyon, The Studio is framed by the Cascade Mountains and offers views of Mount Timpanogos. The facility offers accommodations with oil paintings and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the surrounding landscape.

Residents can enjoy a state-of-the-art fitness center, pickleball courts, a 12-step walking path, a labyrinth, an organic garden, a hair salon, and massage rooms.

The facility sits on twelve acres of manicured gardens and arenas. A private, gated entrance offers confidentiality for residents and visiting family and friends.

The resident wing provides comfortable and inviting accommodations for people in the treatment program. The residential wing also includes common areas where residents can socialize, enjoy the fireplace, or take part in the activities provided.

Cirque Lodge offers shared or private detox accommodations, including private detox in a serene and discreet environment with dedicated medical support.

How Cocaine Addiction Treatment Works at Cirque Lodge

Cocaine treatment at Cirque Lodge follows a structured pathway designed to link each stage of care to the resident’s clinical needs. The process begins with confidential admissions and a clinical assessment that reviews cocaine use, withdrawal risk, mental health needs, family concerns, and recovery goals.

The assessment helps determine the safest and most appropriate treatment path. Some people may require detox support or medical stabilization before they can safely participate in therapy.

Other people may enter residential treatment directly. In residential treatment, a structured schedule, therapeutic support, and distance from daily triggers help them begin focused recovery work.

After therapy begins, treatment addresses cravings, triggers, and behavioral patterns associated with cocaine use. When trauma or mental health symptoms affect recovery, the treatment plan can include dual diagnosis and trauma-informed care.

As treatment progresses, recovery work moves from insight to practical skill-building through experiential therapy, family support, 12-Step participation, and continuing care planning for the next stage of recovery.

Evidence-Based and Trauma-Informed Therapies for Cocaine Addiction

At Cirque Lodge, behavioral therapy forms a central part of cocaine use disorder treatment. Behavioral therapy helps residents identify the thoughts, emotions, triggers, and routines linked to cocaine use. Residents then practice coping strategies for cravings, stress, and situations that may heighten relapse risk.

Treatment includes:

  • Individual therapy, which provides residents with space for personal work.
  • Group therapy, which adds connection, accountability, and feedback from others who understand the recovery process.
  • Clinical workshops and psychoeducation, which help residents understand addiction, relapse risk, coping skills, and recovery planning in practical terms.
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy, or CBT, which helps residents recognize patterns in thought and behavior, challenge automatic responses, and develop practical relapse-prevention skills.

Trauma-related responses or shame may make it harder for a resident to discuss experiences, trust clinicians, or remain engaged in treatment. A trauma-informed approach emphasizes safety, choice, and respect throughout therapy. When a resident needs more focused support, our team may incorporate DBT, EMDR, ACT, or mindfulness-based work into the treatment plan.

Integrated Care for Cocaine Addiction and Co-Occurring Mental Health Conditions

Dual diagnosis care at Cirque Lodge integrates cocaine addiction treatment with support for co-occurring mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and mood instability. Treating these concerns separately from cocaine use disorder can make recovery harder to sustain.

For some people, cocaine becomes a way to manage low mood, stress, fatigue, or difficulty maintaining energy and focus. This pattern can sustain the cycle of cocaine use even after the person wants to stop. Trauma-informed care helps keep treatment grounded in safety, dignity, and trust while the treatment plan accounts for mental health symptoms, trauma history, emotional regulation, and relapse risk.

Treating both conditions together helps address the issues that may keep drawing the person back toward cocaine use.

Residential Cocaine Treatment Away From Daily Triggers and Pressure

For many people, stopping cocaine use is harder when the same routines, responsibilities, stress, and access to cocaine remain part of daily life. Residential treatment provides you or your loved one with distance from that environment, with structure and clinical support in place from the start.

This distance can be especially important for people with cocaine addiction who are managing professional responsibilities, family concerns, or pressure to keep appearing in control. At Cirque Lodge, care takes place in a private mountain setting. The private location reduces exposure to familiar social and professional environments during treatment.

Cocaine Detox at Cirque Lodge

For some people, detox from cocaine is the first clinical step before residential treatment begins. Cocaine withdrawal can be difficult to manage, so a clinical assessment determines whether detox is needed.

At Cirque Lodge, detox takes place at The Studio. Qualified medical staff there monitor withdrawal symptoms, respond to safety concerns, and help residents prepare for therapy.

When supported by the resident’s symptoms, medical history, and safety assessment, medical providers may prescribe medication to manage withdrawal symptoms.

The Studio includes private bedrooms, a detox lounge, a medical examination room, a nurse’s station nearby, and a monitoring and call system for support when needed.

For people who need detox, this initial phase helps make the beginning of residential treatment safer and more manageable.

Privacy and Confidentiality at Cirque Lodge

Whether you or someone you love feels ready to ask for help is often affected by privacy concerns. A private setting may be particularly important for professionals, parents, and people with public-facing roles who are concerned about exposure during treatment.

At Cirque Lodge, privacy is treated as part of the treatment experience. Through discreet admissions, private accommodations, and a confidential treatment environment, you or your loved one can enter care with dignity and focus on treatment without feeling exposed.

Cirque is a world class facility. The staff is amazing. From the therapists, to counselors, to the front line and shift lead. The staff is great here. The owners are awesome, very personable, and seem to be involved which is nice. They have any amenity you can possibly think of. From the horses, to the sauna, the full size basketball court. The food is amazing. The views are breathtaking. I really enjoyed the groups and the one on one with my counselor/therapist. The healing you receive here is real and I’m eternally grateful for that healing I did receive here, and hope to continue to carry that with me and share it along the way. Thanks Cirque!

I was a resident at Cirque twice, once in 2016 and again in 2024. The facilities upgrades were an added bonus to what I knew would be a beneficial treatment experience. While the luxury amenities were amazing, what really stood out to me was the experiential therapy. From the high ropes course to the weekly hikes in the surrounding landscape, those activities helped me break through barriers I couldn’t have reached in talk therapy alone. Most importantly, the staff gave me the guidance and opportunity to work through all 12 steps while I was there. I left with a solid foundation for my recovery. Highly recommended for anyone ready to commit to a life of sobriety.

As an addiction professional, families in crisis trust me to help them identify the most appropriate treatment programs for their loved ones. There are very few programs I recommend as highly as Cirque Lodge. Cirque Lodge is unique in that it is truly a family-owned recovery program, deeply committed to the fundamental tenets of real recovery. It provides an environment that is not only spiritually healing, but also safe and supportive for individuals who are new to recovery—allowing them the space to look inward and find the strength needed for a new way of life. If you are considering treatment options for yourself or someone you care about, I strongly encourage you to consider Cirque Lodge.

What Does a Day in Treatment Look Like at Cirque Lodge?

Each day at Cirque Lodge has a structured rhythm, but the schedule is not the same for every person. Each resident’s schedule is shaped by their treatment plan and may include individual therapy, group therapy, recovery workshops, experiential work, 12-Step participation, fitness, meals, and time for quiet reflection.

Structure helps reduce unplanned time, creates a steadier daily rhythm, and supports recovery in a setting where cocaine use is no longer part of the daily routine.

Our weekly schedule is varied and may include a range of therapy sessions, activities, recreational experiences, special events, guest lecturers, and family week. The weekly schedule varies according to clinical needs, scheduled activities, guest lectures, and Family Program dates. The example schedule presents one possible week of treatment.

Family and Marital Support for Cocaine Recovery at Cirque Lodge

Family and Marital Support for Cocaine Recovery at Cirque Lodge

Cocaine addiction often affects the family system, not only the person in treatment. Loved ones may struggle with fear, broken trust, unclear boundaries, enabling patterns, or uncertainty about how to support recovery after treatment.

Cirque Lodge’s Family Therapy Program and marital therapy help families work on communication, clarify boundaries, and prepare for the home environment after residential care. During Family Week, loved ones can participate in education and therapy sessions that explain addiction, recovery, and the role family support can play without enabling cocaine use.

Continuing Care Planning for Life After Treatment

Through a personalized aftercare and relapse prevention plan, continuing care extends support beyond the residential stay.
